Broken Arrow CG is one of our favorite stops. Lots of site, all of which are quite large. Most are First Come type, but there is a section that is Reservation Only. We have never been turned away. Just across the road from Diamond Lake, great campground. We stayed there in a 40' motorhome.

Had a good stay, Broken Arrow is a very nice campground. Only bad thing was when the fire broke out across the road.

Sites were clean and well maintained. Only stayed one night so very limited experience. Was not a fan of the bathrooms. Although it was nice to have flushing toilets, the lights are kept off during the day and there isn't much natural light. That being said, the spiders were EVERYWHERE. I understand wanting to conserve electricity, however, maybe some additional natural light would help.

We would like to thank the management of Broken Arrow campground for getting the bathrooms on line this year and the cleanliness of the entire campground and showers. A complete turn-around from last years experience. Thank you for hearing our concerns and making the changes.Had an excellent time and enjoyed Diamond Lake to the fullest!We are already planning next year's vacation.John B

Great site! Only thing to look are those gnats. Decent showers and toilets.

Nice weather, fishing was great, minimal bugs issues, my camp has the Eagle nest and lots of people stopped by to visit and see the nest. The camp host Jim and his wife were nice to visit with and kept the bathrooms & shower facilities clean

We love Broken Arrow. We go for 10 days + or-. This year the hosts were exceptional. Last year not so much. Unfortunately, the water spiket closest to our site was not in working order and also the fish cleaning station at the boat ramp was closed. Hopefully they will get it up and running for next time.

Love the woods setting camp sights - large sites in loop F & G Our only negative was the showers - only 2 - out 5 working in the men's. Wonderful biking opportunity-miles of trails. Our second favorite camp ground - just 4 miles from Diamond lake lodge and restaurant. 200 yards from south diamond lake boat ramp for awesome fishing.

Excellent camp hosts! Sites were big. Campground clean
@SaraGDCDBE8B8F · Camped on Jun 30, 2024 at Campsite #C10
Clean campground, easy to follow signs and directions. The shower building had larger toilet stalls, great water pressure and temperature, which was way more than I expected of a campground. Each camping loop had its own bathroom with running water and TP. I was in the area for Crater Lake, so didn't spend much time at the campground, but it had a bike/running trail through and around, great views of nearby peaks, not a bad distance from Crater Lake, quiet. I was super pleased with location and amenities.

Weve stayed at Broken Arrow for a number of years. We always enjoy our stay, but it saddens me the way things are deteriorating. The Forest Service has not been maintaining the services, about 50% of the showers dont work, the fish cleaning houses have been boarded up for two years now.

Disappointed that several of the showers were not working, and several of the water spigots were not working, fish cleaning stations closed.Enjoyed the trip mostly, but what is happening to our reservation money?

Broken Arrow is a nice enough campground; the spots are mostly flat and quite large. Being at a fairly high altitude, there isn't much vegetation to create privacy. There are lots of trees for hammocks or clotheslines, though. Our biggest gripe is with the staff and the (lack of) maintenance of the facility. Upon arrival at our camp site, we found: two dog leashes, several pieces of plastic cutlery, a pencil, plastic wrappers, paper towels, and many piles of dog poop. Clearly the sites don't get any care between campers. The camp host stopped by to tell us about new fire restrictions, and when we asked if it was due to expected thunderstorms, he said he didn't pay attention to the weather because it changes too fast. The restroom in our loop wasn't super dirty, but in the three days we were there, it received zero cleaning. The foul smelling garbage can was never emptied, despite seeing staff visit the facilities. The showers were also not super awful, but the floors had lots of pine needles and such. I did see a maintenance person walk in, look around, and walk out. He didn't look in any of the shower stalls. Total time, about 2 seconds. That said, the showers themselves were among the best I've used at a campground. Nice water pressure and temperature, the clothes hooks were placed thoughtfully out of the shower blast so your clothes would stay dry. All in all, it's a fine enough facility, but the attention from the staff lets it down.

Large sites. Good shade. Showers warm.

The bathrooms in E loop are beyond gross. Camp host was nearly non-existent and made one trip through the camp ground a day which would have been fine if the bathrooms were decent. When staying here again Ill treat it as a dry camp and bring my own toilet

We were surprised and thankful there werent very many mosquitoes there. The campground was very clean and the facilities were well maintained.

A nice campground with good campsites
@KatherineD1A65 · Camped on Aug 7, 2023 at Campsite #C7
Park was great, but out of the 3 stalls in both the mens and womens restrooms only 1 toilet was working. Not a problem for us cause we visited on a weekday and there were not a lot of people. But Id imagine if it was busy it would have become a problem. Oh and lots of mosquitoes.

It would be nice to have the fish cleaning station open.

Great spot in a great campground! Spots were a good size (we had two tents and a hammock stand) and were nicely spaced. While we were there, they also had harvested logs at each campsite for us to use for campfires. Since they were fresh, they were hard to split and burn, but hey, it kept the boys busy and it was free! Bathrooms and shower house were of acceptable cleanliness but there was no hand soap, which I consider a bit of a health hazard. Fire pit was on a bit of a slope which made sitting in chairs hard, but we made do.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
