We hosted a large birthday party at the Limber Grove site, and it was perfect for our needs! The site is well maintained, with plenty of space. The tables are clean, and there is lots of room to put out food and have people sit. The fire pit was in great shape, and the bathrooms were clean. Most of all, the site was absolutely beautiful, and rather private. We had our own parking lot for our guests (and there was plenty of room for cars for 50 or so guests.) Occasionally we'd catch glimpses of the people at the next site over (the two sites share bathrooms), but it felt almost private. A small group also did the Donut falls hike, and it was great to have the site right next to a trail to offer a hiking experience too. We didn't meet the camp host in person, but there was a number listed which we called with some questions and got great support.Only one note of caution: if you are planning to have a lot of people camp, I'd say there aren't many tent sites at this particular site. For our gathering we had a large party in the afternoon but most people left as it got dark and only a few people camped over, (some in a van) so it wasn't a problem. But walking around I didn't see many good tent sites (a lot of the clearings seemed to be on slopes). There are maybe 2-3 tent sites nestled in the trees and then there would be room for tents in the grass close to the parking lot. But for a true large group tent camping experience, another site might be preferable. The folks next door in the Lodgepole site did not have room for as many cars, but seemed to have room for a lot of tents, and we didn't check out the other sites at Jordan Pines, so this comment is limited to the Limber Grove site.

This was a GREAT group site for a quick trip out of the valley for our visiting student group. Bob was a great, communicative host. He stopped by our site as we were setting up before he had to leave the campground for the day to give us all the information we needed.Although the post said "no potable water" we did have potable water at the spout (confirmed by Bob) on the day we were there. Check with the host to be sure.The restrooms were super clean and best maintained vault toilets I have seen in a while. Thanks, Bob! It really makes a difference in helping first-time adventurers feel comfortable.Our group got to choose their own adventure between Donut Falls trail and Dog Lake Trail. Bring a few shade structures, as we have full sun over the picnic tables from 8am -7pm. The pines provide some shade around the picnic area, so good for hammocks, but no real shade over the tables.We were surprised to find the very large grill, which I'm not sure was on the amenities on the site listing. So bring your charcoal and you'll be able to feed an army. Unsure if the brick ovens are functional (looked like it needed a clean out, and maybe some maintanance, but would be an incredible additional feature if functioning).

We enjoyed the Pine Grove group campsite. The parking area was large and open, plenty of room to park RVs and camp trailers if thoughtfully arranged. There are plenty of tent sites uphill from the picnic tables, and you could pitch a bunch of tents in the volleyball court too. There's no shelter at all, so bring pop-up shelters for the picnic area if there's rain in the forecast.

This is an excellent group campsite. The bathrooms are clean, the picnic tables and cooking areas are sizable and well-maintained. There are plenty of trees and shade and a fantastic hike close by.

We rented this campground for a corporate summer event and it was fabulous! Plenty of space to sit and spread out. The reserved parking area fit everyone and a food truck. It was excellent having the bathrooms right next to our space, and it was perfect being so close to the Donut Falls Trailhead.The rental process was simple online and the campsite was well-maintained. Would highly recommend! It was a wonderful time!

The campground host was absolutely amazing. He goes above and beyond. He is very friendly, helpful, and prides himself on a clean campground. Best vault toilets I've ever used hahaha!

The camp host was amazing! He was the best I’ve ever encountered. We had some challenges and he helped us work through then to make my daughters wedding truly magical. We highly recommend Jordan Pines with the current host!!

We like the Pine Grove campsite in the Jordan Pines Campground because of it's size and it's location near several hikes you can take. The campsite was clean, water was available.

The group site had lots of room for tents but none of it was shaded compared to other group sites in the same canyon. The eating area was nice with great tables but it was also full sun during most of the day. And the water spigot knob kept falling off- such an easy fix I'm not sure why it was a problem. The paths were well maintained and the toilets were kept clean. I am disappointed that we paid more for this group site than the neighboring Spruces but didn't have bathrooms with flushable toilets and a sink for washing hands. This year is the one year it would have been nice to have a sink with running water. And no garbage in the bathroom. There is sign that asks for no garbage to be put in the toilets and I get it, but put a small can in the girls bathroom for feminine needs. It is embarrassing for young girls to have to carry that stuff all around to dispose of and a pain especially at night when garbages are stored in the car. Please allow a garbage to be put in there. The kids found a couple different places where groups had built a make shift fire pit and started a fire. With fire danger high these should have been dismantled to be discouraged instead of left for others to find and use. If we are supposed to keep fire in a fire pit there needs to be more vigilance in the area. The caretakers were kind and warned us if the moose in the area. It was fun to see the old moose one of the days. While we had a good time and it was fun, I can see why the Spruces is much more popular.

The campsite is beautiful. The picnic table area stays shaded thru almost the whole day. There are lots of places to put tents. This place is a winner.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
