Strawberry Bay Campground, Heber City, UT

Strawberry Bay Campground is located in the Heber-Kamas Ranger District of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest (1 hr 16 min east of Spanish Fork, UT) with an elevation of 7,642 feet. There are a total of 274 campsites. The campground is normally open from mid May to mid October. 269 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 21 and 144 feet. All sites are currently reservable. 23 sites have electric and water hookups. Fees range from $20.00 to $348.00. Some amenities include drinking water, general store, boat ramp, marina, fish cleaning station, restroom, trash dumpster. Activities include boating, fishing, floating sports.

Camp host was amazing. She kept the bathroom facilities clean and organized. She was friendly and nice. Please note that two of the three electrical breakers on our panel were not working. We were able to make it work, but others may not have the ability to do so.

Great Host, Great site, Great hookups. Unfortunately, I can't give 5 stars as there was a loud group partying two nights till 1 or 2 am, and the bathrooms were only cleaned once in the week I was there.

Campsite was great. Camp host on Loop E was dreadful. Camp host's family member started a fight with my sister-in-law. Camp host's family member had a dog off leash, in other people's camps, and attacking other people's dog. The dog being attacked was in camp and on a leash. The Camp host's family member then assaulted my sister-in-law. The rest of the weekend the Camp host was aggressive, hostile and harassing to all five campsites our family were camping in, and told our family we were no longer welcome to come back to "her Loop E" again. It was nice that the facility manager refunded our camp fees, but the Camp host ruined our family reunion, causing such distress that some family members were in tears or left the family reunion.

There is a nice restaurant and store at the marina, they are are open all day. I think you can rent boats there too. The lake is beautiful.

Camp hosts were friendly, kind and informative. Amazing new hosts in E loop that assisted with a special need we had. The bathrooms were clean and always had tissue. The campground was clean and appropriately groomed.

Very pretty and a nice location. Our only complaint (if anything) is that there arent a lot of trees for shade and wind coverage. But we still enjoyed ourselves. The toilets flush with running water to wash your hands. There is access to drinking water so you dont have to pack it in. And you can buy additional firewood from the campsite manager. It was beautiful and clean as well. Loved it!!

The site we stayed at was nice, except quiet hours were NOT enforced and the loud people partying until 4 am kept us awake most of the night. We did not stay the second night we reserved. We went home.

This was second trip this summer to Loop "B" (with full hookups) at Strawberry. Our pull thorugh campsite was clean and ready for us. We stay at Loop "B" 2-3 times each summer and have been doing so for many years. I have to say this times camp host was outstanding and the best we have incountered. Very personably, friendly and helpful. I hope she return next year. LOVE STRAWBERRY. Good place to camp to relax, chill and fish if you want.

Nicolina was a friendly kind camp host! All the campers were respectful and very quiet at night we couldnt hear a single thing. Great view and perfect little trail down to the water by our site for fishing. Didnt catch a single thing from the shore but kids had fun trying. If anything could be repaired it would be nice if both of the sinks in the bathroom closest to B16 could be replaced, its impossible to wash your hands without rubbing them on the wall of the sink where the water trickles down. Doesnt seem sanitary. Wasnt too cold or too hot the third week of June-we have an old retro camper with no heating or cooling and we were perfectly comfortable day and night. Maybe that was luck or temperatures are just good this time of year. Either way had a great time.

This place has really gone down hill over the last several years. Day use bathrooms - closed, fish cleaning stations - closed, trailer dump station - $12, most of the lights in the public area are burned out, benches falling apart and the rates continue to go up. Seems the new company who's taking care of this area just wants to pull every ounce of profit out of this place with complete disregard for the reinvestment and upkeep costs associated with maintaining this place. Pretty disappointing considering the cost per night. The hosts are great and very accommodating though.

Camp hosts in campground F are amazing. Great job guys The roads in a lot of the campgrounds need repair and we need a FISH CLEANING STATION!! They have been closed for years and I see a lot of people cleaning their fish in the lake since we dont have one available to use shame on them!!

Camp ground sucked as usual. Roads need to be repaired. Toilet not working at boat ramp but the heater in the bathroom is blasting full hot air on 80 degree days. Roads have needed to be repaired for over 5 years now. Camp host was very friendly and did a great job! Problems lie in the administration section of the government.
