Very nice people at check in. The park was in great condition, mowed, trimmed. RV sites were in near perfect condition. Nice and quiet. We will be back again, and again, and

Inconsiderate people leaving their garbage at the campsite. Cigarette Butts, Half Smoked Cigar, Used Coffee Filters. The. Corp does a nice job of maintaining this park only so inconsiderate people can treat it like a dump site. There is very little shade at Taylor Park and the sites can be close together. Lots of insects and spiders just like all the Granger Parks. Corp cleaned this park up in April 2024 and upgraded all the power boxes. They do a great job of keeping the grass mowed. Overall its a nice park. Depends on what the camper was there before you left you to clean up.

I've been staying at the State Parks for a while because none of the RV parks are open due to the Samsung Facility being built. I am working the night shift 4pm-4:30am, 7-12's and the very disrespectful woman at the office that lives next door verbally abused me and threatened when I pushed the gate open myself at 4:45am to get to my RV. I was told that it wasn't her problem that I picked that park and that I could park outside the gate and get someone to come pick me up. I travel and work alone I explained to her, and she said it was a personal problem. She made me sit until 6am every day after I worked 12 hours a day. She threatened me and ran out to my truck saying "If I pushed it open myself again that she would PERSONALLY have the Park Rangers physically remove me from the park, and try me"... very unprofessional and needs to be removed from her position. I could either walk 2.5 miles in the dark or I could wait 1.5 hours at the gate, my choice. When I stayed at Fox Park the very nice man that lived next door understood that people working out of town have to live somewhere. He never once acted crazy when I opened the gate myself, and in fact if he was awake when I came in, he would hit the gate button for me. (Before 6am) He knew I was working because of my exact time and construction clothes and boots. I have alot of respect for people that care about each other... it's God's way.

great park and lake. Gate locks at 10 and no code to get in.

Both of the bathroom and shower facilities were poorly maintained. There were bugs, spiders, spiderwebs and trash. It was rather disappointing.

Nice park, only downside is there isnt access to boating ramp or fishing area. You have to drive about 10 minutes down the road to access.

We really enjoyed our visit. Unfortunately the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting during our trip.

Very nice campsites with good separation from neighboring sites, level parking pads, excellent shade/rain structure, the best campsite charcoal grill I've ever seen (full lid, adjustable air vents on lid and lower base, lower grate to elevate charcoal/wood), quiet at night, surrounding forested areas, engaged camp host, and adjacent trails to lake. Only downside is bathrooms/showers with incomplete drainage, some nonfunctioning lights and toilets, and no soap dispensers at sinks.

Taylor Park was a great place to see the 2024 Solar Eclipse, right in the path of totality. The sites were very well maintained and adequately spaced so as to offer some privacy even though there was very little bush coverage between the sites. The bathrooms and showers were in need of updating and a couple of the toilets were overflowing while the others needed the handle held down to do a complete flush. The trail was not correctly mapped and there was no museum as indicated on the trail map.Our stay was peaceful and comfortable.

Wonderful campground. Peaceful, relaxing. well maintained. Bathrooms were a bit rough, but it's camping.
@LuellaH1AD6B66 · Camped on Apr 3, 2024 at Campsite #20
Beautiful campground and the spaces were great - wide apart, shelters over the picnic table, water and electric on site and a dump station up front. Lovely views of the lake, but the trees needed to be thinned out a bit to allow for better viewing. Had a great time there for the Eclipse!

The park attendants were very friendly and helpful. The grounds were clean and well maintained. Sadly, the bathrooms were filthy.

The site was very good, clean, well groomed, near restroom/shower. However, restroom needed a lot of attention. Sink had only hot water and at extremely high pressure so much so that you got wet if standing in front of it. Urinal in mens room leaked when flushed.
@Alexander70834 · Camped on Apr 29, 2023 at Campsite #46
Lady at the front was accusing us from lifting up the gate and breaking it when we didn’t do nothing at all but she just kept saying it it was me and she was threatening us and cussing us out and just not being appropriate just really bad experience I had and hope something can get done for it.
@CherylT5290775 · Camped on Apr 28, 2023 at Campsite #29
I wish they would clean the site after previous campers have left.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
