Nice area. Roomy spots. Camp host gave helpful info about the area. Roads to the park were pretty rough.

Quiet. Paved level site. Restrooms clean. Showers - water was lukewarm. Lake very low. We have been here before and like this park. Round Rock and Georgetown each about 40 minutes away

Park was clean, often saw volunteers taking care of things like rest rooms, trash, boat launch etc. Quiet, no loud chaos, and this was over Xmas and New Years Eve. Would recommend again

Restrooms were being repaired and out of order. We were not informed at the time of check in.

Bathrooms and showers are fixed and they are CLEAN and nice! Willis Creek is one of the most Peaceful parks that I stay at. The wildlife is abundant and you can just get lost in tranquility watching the birds and deer and the little armadillos and sometimes silly people! The Hosts are very kind and make regular rounds to make sure everything is safe and peaceful. I have met some incredible people there that will be lifelong friends. Always Be Kind! Sometimes people just need a little kindness! I can hardly wait to get back.

Quiet place to relax for the weekend. Would have given it a 5 if the facilities were working (toilets/showers). It did appear that they allow long-term camping. Saw several campers moving loads of crap from one site to another (far more stuff than just a weekend or week stay) while we waited for the campers in our site to move all their stuff (2 hrs of moving) to an open site just two spaces down. It just made those spaces look shoddy. Not a good look for the campground.

Beautiful park, small and quiet. Deer and armadillos are a true Texas experience. The park host are absolutely the best. We met Craig on our first trip and he has been extremely helpful and full of knowledge. The time we have spent here will definitely be repeated. Our new favorite place to camp!

Always enjoy this park. Had a problem with restrooms overflowing and hadto close it down. Luckily we were at a site with sewage.

Camp host was friendly and informative. Site was clean and huge, I especially loved the covered table space. Unfortunately the water is dried up and none of the sites had immediate access to water. Boat ramp was a bit of walk. Drove to 2 different parks about 15min away for fishing. We left a night early since we had decided last minute to camp at one more site but everything was booked. Lovely place!

Sites were decent size but grass was way overgrown. Ended up using a weed whacker to trim the grass on the site. Park showed it was fully booked but only half the sites were occupied.

Great and friendly volunteers! Beautiful lake. So serene.

The park hosts overall were fantastic and accommodating. They have reinstated our faith in the park hosts of America! Its rare to find such individuals who take pride, above and beyond their voluntary duties. We cannot say enough about Craig and the gang. Willis Creek is a great boutique camping spot. Fishing on Granger Lake is exceptional.

This park is small and can be very windy. This spot has shade but I got infested with Ants this last visit. Bring some kind of ant control. There are also a lot of spiders for some reason this time of year August. Power went down for 2+ hours and when I called to report it and gave the address of the Park they could not find it in their system. The customer service is automated so it's a computer that will ask you over and over for your "Account Number" or meter number. If you want to swim and bank fish the lake this is not the park for you. But you can bank fish some of the creek. YMMV.

Very nice and quiet. I would say this is a great park for us old folks. I also thought the security was great.

Quiet and well managed by the park hosts (shout out to Craig). Bathrooms are kept clean, showers are warm. Nice shaded sites on the west end, good lake views on the east end. Cell service is passable to good, but can always get a signal.

Park hosts were helpful and friendly during the limited and short contact we had with them. We really liked our site, had just the right amount of shade for us and was relatively private. We normally would have given this park a "5" instead of a "2". But honestly the main bathroom facility smelled of urine for the who time we were there, almost a week. We did see one team of two cleaning the bathroom just before we left, but without any mops or buckets, only brooms and trash bags. I stopped by later and the smell was just as bad as before they cleaned. Amazingly, the shower area smelled as bad as the urinals. Most unfortunate.

Very nice scenic park with spacious camp sites. Only issue I had was the street light stays on all night. So it's a lot of light coming through the tent if you are at a site near the bathroom.

Beautiful lake. We wondered why the pier is not open. Bathrooms were nasty and very smelly. Showers did not work properly. On-site park hosts were kind and helpful - appreciated their assistance.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
