Great time. Rather crowded on the weekend, but rather deserted during the week. Lake was low,so the boat ramp was a long walk for kayakers. Fun overall.

Great campsite

The rv site was excellent. The shelter over the picnic table came in handy with the rain we experienced during our stay. The bathroom facilities are in bad shape and need repair. The lavatory was not working. During our 4 night stay and dont think the facility was cleaned once.

Would be a 5* if not for the bathrooms. Beautiful location, very spacious RV bays with sheltered benches and BBQ. Very well maintained grounds all around. Definitely would recommend.

The bathrooms were very far away from our campsite (probably a quarter mile) and there was a street light shining all night directly on our campsite. Otherwise, I thought it was fine.

Everything went really well and most of your procedures seem to work. We encountered a problem with a "burn ban". The Host had come around and told us we could not burn that there were signs everywhere. We rode our bikes all over the campground and saw no signs. It wasn't until the next day that we saw them posted only at the entrance office. It would be helpful to have them posted within the campground so that people who do not exit can see them. We had also checked the online postings for the state and Williamson county and others were not included in that burn ban, but we were told that the burn ban was state wide. So, there were some discrepencies.

Great park. Clean bath houses, spacious camp sites and fishing. We enjoyed it for 5 days as a break from travel.

The site, facilities and view were everything we expected. The good rating did not have anything to do with the park itself. We had late arriving neighbors which were loud until 2:30 am. Due to language barriers, we could not communicate with them. Y'all are not responsible for the behavior of the other campers.

It was good. The people camping next to us had 3 dogs, one he didn't have a lease. Two of them got out of there rv and came over to our campsite and started chasing out Chihuahua which was on a leash. He did apologize but still didn't put it on a leash and continued to let him run outside. The host was even walking and the dog ran up to him barking. Nothing was said about it not being on a leash. If I have to restrain my animals by putting them on a leash others should too.

Quiet, clean, nice view of the water. Hosts are awesome too!

As is the case with most every state and corp park, it needs attention. Not a bad park by any means but it appears understaffed and its showing. We had a great site and location was perfect for us.

Great location, the site was close to Georgetown Lake, the lake was peaceful. Bath Houses were clean. Due to rain could not fully enjoy the park.

Always glad to have a chance to stay at Jim Hogg. It gives me a home away from home when visiting my family in the area.

Beautiful sites right on the water or secluded in treed areas. Overall, highly recommend this campground for its beauty & general upkeep.Also, my site had many beautiful deer coming & going & a nice view of the water.My only complaint was that the men's shower by space 71 was not nearly hot enough, especially considering the chilly temps! I took one mostly cold shower Multiple requests were made to increase the temperature. It never got hot hot enough even after pressing the "timed" on button multiple times. I was told to try a different bath house that had a faucet that remained "on" - which defeats the purpose of getting a site next to " facilities ". Additionally, I did find and try the recommended facility and it wasn't hot enough either. Also, it had rained and my site bath house had paved access while the others did not.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
