Nice park, The park host were excellent. The only downside is there were no sewer dumps at the sites, and the water from the hydrant was very rusty.

We love this park! The hosts are wonderful! We liked walking the trails and watching the alligators. Outside of the park we visited The Big Thicket and Martin Dies State park for additional hikes. We recommend The Pickett House g g or family style fried chicken, Wild Bills Grill for burgers, and Martins Mexican Restaurant. They are excellent!

Site was level with easy access. Water and power only. Very peaceful. Would stay again.

Quiet area, grounds are well kept, the sites are spacious, and the bathhouse had hot showers and was kept clean.

Really enjoyed our time at Magnolia Ridge. Water was up and traffic was down, which made for a really nice, quiet visit. Camp host was really friendly and helpful.

Weather was very cold and rainy. Park is lovely but had minimal time outdoors. Water is on wrong side and a distance from driveway. Shower room is unheated and water only warm.Staff was friendly and helpful. Will return when warmer out and hot showers not such a priority

Sites were spread apart but had great unique views of the lake and trees in the water. Restroom was clean and working. Just stayed over night but enjoyed our stay.

Need more sites with 50 amp service and hot water in the showers. Other than that this is my favorite park.

We didnt know we were going to experience a cypress bayou. We were expecting a lake. What a treat! The fog in the morning was magical. The hike around the park was the perfect length. We were disappointed that all the hiking trails were closed with no explanation. We were also surprised we didnt see more wildlife, only one crane, a hawk and a few squirrels. Nevertheless, it was a pleasant experience with the park mostly empty. We had site 40.

The host, Bob, was the most helpful person! We have been going there for years and thoroughly enjoy our time there. Our lot had been overbooked and Bob fixed the problem. Highly recommend staying there.

Love the fishing experience however the gators are stripping my catch. We love camping here but the alligators are taking over at Magnolia Ridge

Park attendants did a very good job of having the site clean and keeping the fire ants treated, mostly, in the camp site. Hard to keep fire ants completely out.

I love the price. This is a great value and I really appreciate it. The campsites were not crowded when we were there. The park roads are in pretty bad shape you can navigate your RV but you'll need to go slow. Sites are big enough for most any RV. Power (30 & 50 amp) and water are available at each site. There is a common waste dump. Oddly, the water and power on opposite sides of the sites. The restrooms could have been cleaner but they were acceptable.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
