Johnson Creek Camp in Marion county is located 45 min northeast of Longview, TX with an elevation of 264 feet. There are a total of 87 campsites. The campground is open all year. 65 sites can accommodate RVs between 32 and 70 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 63 sites have electric and water hookups. 12 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $18.00 to $175.00. Some amenities include shower, playground, boat ramp, swimming, flush toilets. Activities include boating, fishing, floating sports.

It's a nice clean campground...with plenty of deer and lakeside to view....the restrooms could improve as well as the tent sites...but overall I will say it's worth coming back to camp multiple times over again...park staff are very courteous as well...

Beautiful lake, good kayaking. Bathroom was quite a distance away and not that clean. Campsites on outer edge of circle are nice but inside center of loop, tightly spaced. We had one night lakeside and that was great.

Park personnel were very friendly and helpful. The is well kept and maintained. We were under a burn ban and understand why, but one site had a fire both nights we were there. I just retired as a volunteer fireman for 33 years and wish that group would show a little respect for the rules. They looked to be in there 60s and would think by now they would know better

Love camping here. Spots 201 and 202 are well suited for large families though you can only camp on the designated spots. Bathroom and showers were kept clean during the weekend we were there. Overall I would definitely recommend camping here.

Park managers were helpful, camp area was nice, amazing view, bathrooms were clean and camp grounds were quiet.

Camp hosts were very nice and helpful. Grounds need to be in better shape. Grass right at the lake was about 1.5 feet high. The campers were weed eating this themselves. The trees along the shore need to have limbs removed or cut down so you can see the lake.

Went there 3 times. First time power was messed up. They moved 5 of us from full hookup to just water and electric. Second time we went no water all night. Third time we got there someone was in our spot No one was at the gate to tell us that the people who were broke down. But the people could have their camper off of our space . So we left and drove seven hours home. I would never go back to that park again. Theyre supposed to give us a refund but havent seen it yet so I Wouldnt advise that park to anyone

This is a great spot but, They do not take of the spot.It needs a tractor or backhole to clean off the 6" to 8" of dirt that has wash off the hill. Now there is a small lake on the spot because the water can not run off!Its need this done on both sides so the water and mud cannot run onto the padThanks

The grounds are well maintained, most of the campers were very friendly and respectful! The amount of deer walking around the park was incredible! We had a great time and cant wait to come back again soon!

Gate personnel were super nice and had our entry pass ready even though we came early! Love this park and beautiful views of the lake! And deer everywhere which our grandchildren loved!! GREAT PLACE!!!

Water pressure continues to be a problem. I stay at Johnson Creek 5-6 times per year. Water pressure is anywhere from 18 lbs - 55 lbs. only 4 campers in entire park last time so it wasnt overloaded.
