Site was not as long as indicated. We were told we could park our cargo trailer on the grass, but it was soggy and we would've gotten stuck. No cell/internet signal. Camp host was off duty.

The day pavilion is nice to use for get togethers. Nice cover with plenty of tables and benches and electricity and trash cans with bags. Just remember to bring tablecloths because the tabletops are hard to clean and a broom especially if its windy to handle the leaves. Bathrooms are close and playground is a definite plus

We stayed two nights, arriving on a Friday. The camp host was very helpful and nice. We were at site 12 which had a nice picnic area and a view of the water. There were large groups of people camping near by - one had 7-8 vehicles and were quite loud during the day. They turned the music down at 10pm but there were kids riding their bikes and being loud till midnight. There were also cars going by and a group of people walking (and talking loudly) at 4:30am. Site 12 is a pull-through along the road, so any noise is quite noticeable. Other sites are set back and might not have the noise issue.The next night was much quieter.

I have asked for a dead tree on site 20 to be cut since September 2023..it is about to fall on a camper or a person!! It is leaning We plan to camp in May, but can not camp unless that huge dead tree is cut. Please! Thank you Melody Thomason 936-465-3990

Alligators are everywhere. Water is too low, but I know they are working on the dam. Do you know how long it will before they are finished?

Always clean and quiet, I enjoy coming to Hanks Creek. All the folks I have met in the park are very friendly and respectful. My brother and I always catch fish there and really enjoy our time spent together. Looking forward to our next camping trip. The park host are always friendly and helpful if you need anything.

The park was awesome. The only downside was the first night the electricity went out for about 2 hours. And the 3rd day, new neighbors moved in and decided to share their music with the whole park. On the 4th day I guess the camp host talked to them and the music was not blaring at all. The camp is peaceful and beautiful. I would highly recommend.

The park was beautiful. There was some garbage left by prior campers on the waterfront near our site that we picked up. There was no garbage on our site. The camp hosts were friendly & helpful. The beach was closed although we saw several groups go there & spend the day. Our grandkids enjoyed the playground.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
