We enjoyed the park overall. The water level was high enough to close the lower are and the boat ramp bu that made just the upper area more scenic.However, the dump site is still in disrepair. We come here about once a year and since 2012 it's been pretty run down. The worst part is that you are tilted away from the off door side. $hit don't run up hill.There are also some repair issues need to the bath house.

The campsite #56 had a nice pad and good shade trees. Pretty view of lake. There was much evidence of wild hogs (lots of dug out areas). Bathrooms were clean and in good condition. Overall a good experience. Would definitely camp here again.

Great park. Would like to be able to stay there more in the summer but there are only a few 50 amp sites. Hope more 50 amp sites are added.

The hosts were so friendly and even came to check on us to see if we needed any help setting up. Site 45 was spacious and level (could easily fit several 8 person tents), had a double length covered picnic table, and had a power outlet if you wanted to use a stove or water heater (best to have a 50ft extension cable to reach the table). The bathrooms were clean and the showers had doors (4 shower heads total with 2 shower heads inside each closed area) as well as hooks for shower curtains (that could go around each shower head to split the rooms further) or for your toiletries bag. No soap pump in the bathroom, so bring your own. Never ran out of toilet paper.

I stayed at Cedron Creek during recent the solar eclipse. Its a beautiful campground, and the campground hosts were exceptional! Their kindness was an added bonus to an already lovely stay.

Really enjoyed the campsite with a great view of the lake and the bluebonnets were blooming. It was a quiet campground. The restrooms were clean, but are a pretty good walk from where we were.The site we had is pretty close to the next site, but the neighbors were quiet.The campsite has lots of fire ants. You had to be careful where you stepped as you walked around the area near the camper. We would stay here again.

What a beautiful park. Thoroughly enjoyed all of the beautiful trees. The campground hosts, Martin and Sherri, made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They are exceptional people and made our entire stay thoroughly enjoyable. Oh, by the way, it was an awesome place to view the eclipse!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
