Best place Ive been at yet. So peaceful, enough space between camp sites and layed out for individual privacy. Showers were hot and. Grounds were clean. Great weather in Oct. breezes kept bugs away and cool nights had me sleeping outside rather than the camper. Only bummer were all the spiders dropping down from the cover over the picnic tables. Ill know next time to spray with a hose the underside of the roofs, before we set up .

Very quiet location. The hosts were great even helped us change a flat tire! We will be back.

We absolutely love this park. The spots are really close to the lake making accessibility to the lake extremely easy for fishing or just sitting and watching the sunset in the evening. The spots are fairly level on gravel pads. The shade is abundant with tall trees that keep you cool most all day long. The staff were visible riding around a few times during the day checking things out, which is nice to see. The restrooms were not bad but could use a facelift. They were fairly clean though. We definitely recommend visiting this park, its truly peaceful. It's a bit of a drive to get to but the drive is scenic and passes through some nice small towns. This makes the drive relaxing and sets the mood for when you arrive at the park. We had a great time, got a lot of rest and relaxation.

The park its self is beautiful, quiet, and we had a great time. The restrooms and showers were a bit sketchy though. I understand were in the country but worms crawling on the walls was a bit much

Nice, small park. Friendly host. In the section I was in the spots are nicely spaced with easy access to the water. The restrooms were not very exciting. I would stay there again.

There were 5 campers from our church and every spot was extremely unlevel, we could barely find a place to set up a domino table. We have Verizon phone and most of the time there was absolutely zero phone signal.

Plowman Creek was a lovely place to camp. The water was extremely accessible. I liked that the picnic tables were covered. We have a camper, so we didn't need to use the bathroom facilities on the grounds.

We had a level, back-in site which included power and water hook-ups. The picnic table was under a ramada with a grill and firepit. We had a nice view of the water, as most sites do. They were hosing down our ramada, grill and picnic table as we arrived (we were a little early) and said they do this cleaning once a week! There are no hiking trails, but nice to walk through the campground along the lake. Very quiet. We took a day and went to Dinosaur Valley State Park. When there ask about another nearby site outside the park to visit, along the same river. Very worthwhile!

Park is clean and quiet. It could use a mowing around the Equestrian camp sites.

Nice campground. Lots of room. Quiet.

The location and site was beautiful! The only negative was that it was very cool in the mornings and there is no kind of heat in the bathrooms for the shower. It would be really nice if the bathrooms were sprayed for spiders and such and if the toilets were wiped clean both inside and out. One could see the gunk on the outside of the bowls. The faucets had alot of calcium build up. Keeping the bathrooms clean could attract more return campers! Especially since there is no septic hookup for RVs.

Nice little camp ground

This park is more fore fishing, not much in the way of trails or swimming. The site was fine, the host were fine.

Campground needed mowing. Grass and weeds were over a foot tall all around camp sites. Bathrooms were filthy and every toilet in all 4 rest rooms were clogged. Campground needs more attention

Went to Plowman to enjoy a nice camping trip with my dad, who has been coming here since the 60s. We had a difficult time enjoying ourselves due to the loud music from our neighbors all weekend. The people two sites over did not adhere to quiet hours, we heard music late into the night. the park host conveniently stopped coming around in the evenings, probably so they didnt have to deal with these rowdy individuals. Some also drove a very loud fishing boat around the creek around midnight. Really wouldnt recommend this park anymore, unless they start running off the riff raff. You would be better off staying at a state park.

Very nice campsite. I like that most of the tent campsites have their own dedicated water spigot. The campground host is super nice! The nicest campground host Ive ever had. I'll definitely be back.

Had a little trouble find site. Park host was very helpful and friendly. Beautiful park very quiet and very clean. Toilets sit really high off ground, I'm 6' and feet barely touch the ground

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
