We had a nice mostly level site with a wonder view. The Verizon cell service in intermittent. It is a nice little campground. The host was very helpful.

We have stayed here twice in the past 6 months. It is on Lake Barkley. We stayed in lot 27 this time which was lake front. We really enjoy it here. There are nice shower houses. It isn't too far to drive into Clarksville.

To start, the host could not be more friendly and helpful. The road within the campground requires some serious work. There are places where you cant make a turn without leaving the road. The bathroom could also stand an upgrade. Very poor cellular service and no over the air tv.

Bumpus Mills is a nice park, however, the roads getting into the park are VERY narrow, hilly, and curvy for larger rigs. We liked the park but will probably not be going to it again because of the drive to access it in our rig.

Beautiful place, small and quiet

We always enjoy our stays here. Site 21 is laid out nicely, giving you plenty of space to get comfortable. Be aware that the campground is situated on a hill, so small kids will have a problem riding their bikes around (although that might not be altogether a bad thing).

Love coming here but the grounds need to be sprayed for chiggars and the campsites needed weeding. This was a holiday weekend.

Need to weed eat regularly. I have gotten eaten up by chiggers or something every time I camp there even with off. Other than that the campground is a great little getaway.

Could use some slots cut out for rain drainage but other than that it is an awesome place to camp. Thanks!

Bumpus Mills is in a great spot, 20th & Plum; 20 miles out and plum in the sticks. The facilities are very good. My only complaint isn't something the park can do much about but I work daily and need fast internet access. Bumpus doesn't have that and I suspect there are few of us who care and a normal camper would kinda like the fact there is minimal access.

What a lovely place to stay! It was quite and so wonderful along the lake. It may have rained cats and dogs, but it was worth the trip "out of our way." I am learning places like this are worth it. Special thanks to the egret, showing off its fishing skills.

Excellent campsite. Restrooms were cleaned on weekend but during the week they were not cleaned adequately. The washing machine and dryer were so full of bugs they were unusable.

We make this our annual week-long destination. This small campground is clean and remote. We love that it is on the lake where we can walk out from our spot to fish or take the trail to the swimming beach. There is a Marina with boat rentals and an outdoor restaurant with weekend bands. We prefer the simplicity and natural surroundings. Water & electric hook-ups only.

In the ladies shower house the hot water didn't work for two different visits in the first stall and the second stall ( handicap one ) it worked but only after the water ran for 8-10 min. Needs fixed.
@HaroldWBDD264F · Camped on May 25, 2023 at Campsite #21
It’s a very small Quiet campground. Loved it except the bathhouse needed a good scrubbing.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
