We camp at Horsfall at least once a year. This year the site was well maintained as usual. The Camp Host was nowhere to be found. Water to the showers was off, no Camp Host to check on it.

Very clean restrooms. Hot showers. Good cell reception. Camp host was fabulous. Very accessible and knowledgeable.

Camp host Wendy is very strange and doesnt know her job! She walked around without her teeth on and wearing a bathing suit to pass out coloring books to the kids. We had someone still using our spot and she told us they didnt even have reservations!

Like someone finally mentioned in their reviews this is not a campground but a parking lot for RVs. You're close together and have no privacy. My site description said full shade but you're parked in a parking lot with full sun so I don't understand that one. If you want a regular campsite you will need to go someplace else. It was terrible. It's only for our RVers who want to take their ATVs on the dunes.

The shower hours are disapointing! 8 AM to 2PM is not convienent. You play in the sand all day and you would like a shower in the evenimg.

Love this place , just wish the showers would work

We always enjoy horsefall. It is always clean and the camp host was very attentive. The first couple days there were some questionable rvs and cars, but they were moved a couple days after we arrived. The bathrooms were also kept super clean which we appreciate because our family uses the showers to save our grey tank the week we are there. Overall, we love it there. We will be back next year.

The date was changed while I was trying to maneuver the web site on my phone, and they charged me extra to change it when we found out. The area we parked in had a group parked across that made ot hard to back my tiny camper in. The showers were considered " a curtesy " and not open until 8 am and closed a few hrs later!! Worst campsite I have ever stayed at... will definitely not recommend and not stay there again.

Nice place to stay...don't plan on showers being open...if they do open it is not until 8am...it would be more customer centric if they opened at 6am...just saying...

Not impressed with the sketchy people staying there as well as coming in from town to use the free showers and steal from sites. we had to lock Everything up every time we went out for a ride or when we went to bed. Someone overdosed while we were there too. It seems these campgrounds may need security gates so only paying guests can be in there. We have been camping here for 10yrs and this is the first time we have had to worry about our things being stolen or worry about our kids going to bathroom bldg alone. Even the camp host had a couple things stolen from her site (during the daytime yet!) pretty sad. And she told us the whole cmpgd was overrun with homeless in the fall and she just got it cleaned up in April/may. But there were some lingering still. Not sure if they were paying guests or just squatters.... Not impressed. Do better Oregon

The campground host was very nice and kept the campground and bathrooms clean and tidy. She was helpful in area attractions and resources.

The campground was easy to park, neighbors were friendly and we had a great time.

Not to bad, the issue with the showers only being open 8-2 was very inconvenient. The worst part was not having a camp host because people would let there kids ride quads around the loop like a racetrack with nobody to stop them. Im sure Ill be back.

Good camping trip. Restricted hours for showers inconvenient.
@ChadP386BDBD16 · Camped on Aug 11, 2023 at Campsite #52
Need to do better about the people digging through the dumpsters twice a day, as well as try to cut down on theft. My generator was nearly stolen. They tried twice to cut my cable. Two other groups had a generator and fuel cans stolen. The men's showers need help. The ADA one was the only one out of 4 that worked properly.

Love horsfalls campground. Wish other campers had the same respect as leaving it clean, pick up your trash and put out your fire
@LisaB5569950 · Camped on Aug 6, 2023 at Campsite #39
This is such a fun park to stay out with the family.This year wasnt any different however,there wasnt a volunteer camp host and the park was full of litter, trash in the fire pits and fires still burning after guests left. Shame on campers not leaving the land the way they found it

It was okay

Camping is good here but the camp host didn’t take good care of the bathrooms. No toilet paper/ showers not cleaned daily.

We had a great family trip to horsfall campground. We did lots of riding in the dune, did the bluebill trail hike and visited the umpqua light house. Lots to do and see in the area, highly recommend.
@ElliottK1CFE6C · Camped on Jul 8, 2023 at Campsite #42
Nobody adheared to quiet hours— music blaring clear until 4am. Bathroom facilities were dirty and half were out of order. Felt more like a campground that had been abandoned
@JenniferC92685 · Camped on Jun 29, 2023 at Campsite #44
Very nice and relaxing stay clean bathrooms took advantage of the showers and enjoyed the camp ground.
@AdrianS10AD363 · Camped on Jun 16, 2023 at Campsite #12
People had gas cans stolen, no park host to manage or regulate speed. All hours of the night people throttling their bikes/UTV’s.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
