We had an outstanding camping experience. The campsite and restroom were immaculate! Richard and Gayle the campground hosts go above and beyond to ensure an exceptional camping adventure!

Great campground and easy to get to the lake via the little paths all over. There's a hiking trail that runs next to the campground and goes a couple miles up and down the lake. Lovely views. Only thing I can think to improve would be to add some more native shrubs for privacy from other campsites. No showers but maybe the other campgrounds nearby would be okay with borrowing theirs?

Absolutely beautiful site located right on the edge of the lake. Everything was clean and fresh. Restrooms were clean and it wasnt really crowded. Really nice site recommend.

Don't tell anyone about this gem. I love that it's so close to my home but a world away. The three campgrounds on Vallecito Lake are a great place to recreate, chill, and hang out with friends.

What a beautiful spot to spend some time in nature. Very few people there on a Wednesday, so quiet and spacious. I'd love to go back with more time and some fishing gear. Highly recommended.

Great campground and site. Lake was the highest in years which resulted in a lot of mosquitos, but overall very nice.

Great location surrounded by pine trees, with a short walk to Vallecito. The water in the lake is low, so fishing wasn't as good as I'd hope, but on a better year it would be enjoyable.

This is a beautiful campsite with a fabulous host. There are access points to get to the lake from your forest sites with a field of butterflies and flowers in between. I'll definitely go back!

We had a great time at North Canyon campground. The campground hosts, Paul and Louise were exceptional. They made sure the campground was tidy and well maintained. The trail that connects the campgrounds is a lovely walk in the woods.

The arts is beautiful and the host excellent. He stopped every day to see if we needed anything and reminded us on where he could be found if we needed anything. We will definitely be back again.

Didn't have campers on either side of me, I was in spot 4. It was quiet and great shade. There is a short hiking trail to the water. The fire pits have a grill that you lay on top. It was excellent!

the campsites was clean and fairly well spaced out from the other camp sites. The Camp Host was very friendly and checked the campground several times a day.

Very spacious and wonderful spot with a private trail to Vallecito Lake!! Disappointing that previous campers don’t follow the “ Leave No Trace” principal. Kids and I cleaned up a lot of litter through out our time there. Beautiful hosts, super friendly, clean toilets ( needed hand sanitizer as a courtesy measure maybe?!). Loved it and will be back for sure!! We also did a trail ride at Elk Point and that was wonderful!

Wonderful quiet campground. Cool owls at night. Great day fishing. Definitely going back

Site was a good size & clean. We had people all around us, but sites are far apart enough that we still had privacy. Beautiful location, will be back in a heartbeat!
@ArtieS480 · Camped on Jul 21, 2021 at Campsite #20
Very easy to book and received confirmation within minutes. The campground was simple and in an ideal location on Vallecito reservoir. Included metal fire pit with adjustable grill grate, table and seats, good flat areas for the tent or RV, fairly secluded, vault toilets and potable water nearby, and a nice hiking trail. The hosts were welcoming and informative, they even came by to check on campers and offer firewood.
@HerbertS599 · Camped on Jul 18, 2021 at Campsite #21
Sites are well spread apart. Do not have the right on top of one another feel. Quiet, as the campground is near the end of the road. Some sites would be hard to back a trailer into. We had to enter the exit and back in.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
