Just a parking lot!

Very clean, great hosts. Would be a 5 star, but one of the toilets in the restroom was out of service, so there was only one womens toilet available for all the day use and the campers in the resort area.

Other than the arrows are wrong for camper trailers coming or going, they give you wide spaces and beautiful views. We had a good time, and the staff was nice and friendly. The wife learned to paddle board while Jack and I watched from the shade of a tree.

Very nice place to stay. Camping is right on the waterfront, plenty of hiking trails, and the staff is very helpful & friendly. The facility could use some funding for repairs, for example the fencing on the trails is rotted. The only thing I think should change is the times allotted to run the generator. Times allowed are 10:00 a.m. to noon, and 4:00-6:00 p.m., meanwhile fishing boats are being launched at 6:00 a.m., trucks are driving through the parking lot all day long, it's very busy from sun-up to sun-down. This rule was written by someone sitting in an office that has no clue. Change the time from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Aks the staff there, they know the deal.

Showed up for the campsite I reserved and find out they rented out to someone else already. Bob at the front desk said we could go to another campsite down the road but wouldn't give a refund. I was told by Bob I would have to go through Recreation.gov for a refund. Not happy with the experience after driving 2 hours for a campsite to not have it available.

Nice people running the park. Downsides, with no hook-ups available for your trailer you are limited to using your generator from 10-12 and 4-6. Makes it difficult to charge batteries when needed when fishing all day. Also, the boat ramp this time of year is cluttered with LOTS of floating wood making it difficult to access with a boat trailer. Seems the staff cant keep up with the accumulation. Absolutely zero cell service making it difficult for competition fishing to submit catches online. Had to drive 30 minutes to Jacksonville for adequate service. AND parking trailers in designated sites is difficult unless you drive in the exit road and come around so you can back in. Not set up well at all. Could be a nice park with a little revamping. Not sure well return.

Beautiful on the lake. Stayed in the group campsite. Only walk in campsites. Wheel barrowing was a lot further than the website says, be aware! After a two night stay we noticed three vehicles drive in and not have to wheelbarrow down in three different campsites. This was upsetting after we took 24 wheelbarrow loads of camp stuff. I asked an employee if we could drive and pointed to the three different campgrounds with cars and trucks. He said no we could not drive. I asked why and he said those cars are the owner friends and they have an exception. I almost cried. The person leasing the land does not own the land but can give special exceptions for his friends to fill the campground and break rules. Beyond upset. No exceptions for women and children only for owners friends to break rules. Beautiful place; however I will not spend my money here again!

Literally the best trip we've been on. The kids enjoyed it and had no problems being unplugged. Hosts were great, sites were clean, nice and quiet. Definitely will be booking again.

Right on the lake. It was quiet and very convenient for kayaking, fishing etc. No water or power hookups or showers, if you expect that and are prepared for that, you will love this small campground! The campground staff was very friendly and did a great job. You get a fire pit , picnic bench and ours had a love swing that overlooked the beautiful, peaceful Applegate lake view. Loved it!

The absolute best!! It truly does not get any better than Hart-Tish. All camp hosts are extremely friendly and helpful, the sites are clean and quiet, the lake is gorgeous and peaceful. Second year in a row (driving up from Southern California) and we will absolutely be back again next year! 🌲♥️🎣

Only stayed one night. All reviews were talking up the lake and the kayak rentals. Lake was extremely low. Left early due to wildfire smoke. Place was creepy, won't go back.

I arrived, no boat ramp, no water access. The “rv” camp site was nothing more than a parking space in front of the “store”. Asked for my reservation to be cancelled and refunded by the supposed camp host and they didn’t. Then my refund was refused through recreation.gov. Absolute garbage in my opinion.

Worse ever camping in a hot exhaust fume parking lot no grass, no way to reach the water unless you are prepared to break a bone. No way to fish unless you drive somewhere you can actually reach the water. Extremely noisy from vehicles driving within 10 feet of you all day long..enjoy the exhaust if that's your thing Managers took it upon themselves to regulate extreme generator hours as explained in prior reviews. There was absolutely NO mention when making reservations. Store was poorly stocked ..Small bag of ice $5. Trail is extremely rocky and shale ridden you really have to watch your step or possibly break your neck on the very steep bank. Not a place for dogs.no grass a lot of dried out weeds..and even our German Shepherd s could not go down steep banks. Definitely will not stay here again. Nothing to do may as well stay in Wal-Mart parking lot.

Applegate lake hart-tish park ok.. so here's the down and dirty for RVrs on this place. worst place to stay EVER! we arrived and it was 102'. I called four days ahead of our arrival and asked how far our site was from the water because if it was too far.. we were going someplace else. Glen the manager told me we had a great spot only 10 feet from the water. he said we were right on the shore. so you'll understand my surprise when we arrived and after 10 feet from our site was a 150 foot sheer drop to the water. seriously. only access to the lake was to go around and down the boat ramp or hike back through the tent campsites and down an extremely treacherous decline to an ankle breaking rocky beach. oh..and forget about bringing the pooch. they can't walk on the brutally hot ground and the water is much to far for them to cool off without third degree burns on their feet. ok but my personal favorite is that this is a State Park. the "managers" live in this cute house in the shade with AC running full time, and a lovely grass front yard. see pictures. however.. the paying "guests" who are parked on asphalt with ABSOLUTELY NO shade are only allowed to run generators from 10am-Noon and from 4pm-6pm. heat stroke much.. the reason.. they don't want to disturb "their" peace. cue de gras.. I got to over hear the managers talking trash about the guests. saying too bad if their hot they can leave. well let me tell you.. we saw people show up and drive away each day. so you may ask, if it was so bad, why didn't we leave? excellent question. well theirs ZERO cell coverage.. none.. and we had family driving from Another part of the state to meet us, so we were just plane screwed. Oh and the store has WiFi.. just not for guests. but check out this notice they have posted about gas. it should give you the right feel of the place.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
