Aspen Glade Campground, Hyrum, UT

Aspen Glade Campground is located in the Conejos Peak Ranger District of the Rio Grande National Forest (2 hrs 18 min north of Santa Fe, NM) with an elevation of 8,483 feet. There are a total of 32 campsites. The campground is normally open from the end of May to the beginning of September. 30 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 20 and 90 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Fees range from $29.00 to $58.00.

The campground was clean and well maintained. The bathrooms were kept clean, hosts were pleasant. Site 23 is a great spot, as are sites 20-22. Up top, site 16 is very nice with a good view.

Beautiful views! Clean restroom - camp host were very helpful and friendly. We had the upper loop to ourselves otherwise the closeness of the tent sites would be tight. And you can hear road noise. But the proximity to the river and scenery is worth it!

The sound of the river is one of the best things about this place. Unfortunately there's no restrictions generators so that can ruin it for everyone.

One of our favorite campgrounds. What helps make it special are Bill and Deb, the camp hosts. They are friendly, courteous, helpful and they do an excellent job keeping the restrooms clean and the campground clean. We look forward to seeing them each time we return. The Red Bear establishment up the road (West on 17) serves up some great food, especially ice cream! They are also kind of a general store where you can pick up essentials as well as souvenirs.

Absolutely the best campground hosts! Bill and Deb helped me solve a number of issues I had while camping. They were kind and considerate I was upset about an issue with my awning. Bill helped me solve the problem he was very nice he never made me feel at fault for the problem. I am so grateful to Bill and Deb. The campground is beautiful, quiet and very clean restrooms.

What a nice surprise! We had a wonderful time at Aspen Glade. The campground is quiet especially in the loop C near the river.Hosts are friendly and accommodating. Sites are roomy and shady with beautiful pines.There is so much to do in the area especially off of FR 250. There are other campgrounds off of FR 250 but the road is usually pretty rough with washboard. Hike to an alpine lake but make sure to take your fishing rod. The town of Antonito is only 20 minutes away for supplies. No cell service but who cares!-enjoy the quiet. Stop at the Red Bear welcome center in Horca for a beverage and use their wifi if you need to check in. We will definitely be back.

We had a great time staying here. Very quiet peaceful campground. The hosts were polite and accommodating. The bathrooms were kept very clean. We would come here again.

We really loved this place. It was calm and quiet, for the most part. A few generators, but otherwise great. Great river, scenery and all around beauty. Most clean bathrooms ever at a campsite. Great hosts!

Campground hosts are knowledgeable about the area and they keep this campground extremely clean. Wonderful quiet campground. Sites 20-32 are spots nearest the river.

The campsites and restrooms are kept in good condition. The location is beautiful near the Conejos River.Only suggestion is that a central location is needed for water. We arrived with a low freshwater tank and needed to top it off. Thankfully, the camp host provided access to a water spigot.

Best site in the campground. Little dryer than past trips but wonderful time. The camp host on the gator needed to dry the 5 mph speed like everyone else so there wasnt so must dust but he was always in a hurry going too fast.

I* would like to keep this gem all to myself but here goes the tall trees so big you cannot get your arms around to hug them are awesome the Conejos river is right there and sounds wonderful the mountains reaching to the sky the ease of getting into the campgrounds it is a very clean camp and the hosts Deb and Bill have made our stays over the last four years enjoyable right down to the hand painted forth of july rocks that they made . What more can i say this place is awesome we love this place and will come back as often as we can

Bill and Deb the campground hosts were fantastic! They are completely supportive and helpful and run a great operation! The campground is fantastic, bathrooms are clean and the scenery is amazing. There were even lots of open spots over the 4th of July weekend so it was pretty quiet too!. Sites 20, 21, 22 are right on the river.....a few more bugs but worth it! There is no cell service at the campground, but just a few miles further into the canyon is a church that you can access free wifi from the parking lot or even just a few miles more in Horca there is at the Red Bear Welcome Center with wifi.
