I stayed at site 20. It had a nice platform for a tent. It is advertised as an RV spot but very difficult to get one situated in there. Overall happy we got a good spot. Start your day early as quiet hours start at 10pm. The "Karen" next door to us went through the bushes to remind us to be quiet. We were settling up late but she didn't care. That was our only issue. The camp site was great.

this is my favorite campground. It's small, the bathrooms are AWESOME and kept clean, and it has great hiking trails. the camp hosts are very nice and very friendly.

The toilets are really nice. Campsites are close to each other, but beautiful. Lots of bugs in late July.

What a wonderful campground! We stayed in site 1 with a 22 ft. trailer and a crew cab Chevy truck. We were able to back in and keep he truck tow ready the entire time. The views from the picnic table and tent site were gorgeous. Beautiful views of granite mountain and no view of anyone around. It was like camping in the middle of nowhere. It was quiet and very private. The pit toilets were the composting type and very clean and odor free. We will be back!

Clean campground , clean bathroom . Nice place

My site was small for my travel trailer even though the site was rated for the length. Rest rooms not so clean, desperately in need of paint. Lots of sites reserved with no one in them. Signage was poor. Was there several days and never saw the host. Wont stay again.

Great location with cooler weather. Unfortunately, some water filling stations were not available

Campsites felt private, had decent shade, were tidy/ready for us, and were mostly quiet. Bathrooms were clean and the lights were on a sensor at night. We'd definitely return!

I'm always very pleased with my stay here.It's quiet. The water tastes good. The host work very hard to keep the place up. My site is always freshly raked. Free of trash. And the fireplace is empty. I see them cleaning the bathrooms every day. The hosts are also very friendly and beyond helpful.

clean and odorless toilet. I was lucky to have a responsible and quiet neighbor. The ground is clean and flat. The host is nice.

Grear site, most of the camp sites are excellent and not too stacked on top of each other. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Great location, in the woods, near a river (not on), quiet and beautiful. Close enough to Ptrescott for quick drives for food and such. Would definitely visit again,.

Pros: Clean bathrooms, beautiful weather and scenery. Cons: Small campgrounds

This is a clean, quiet campground with many spacious sites. Its over 20 miles from South Rim Village so if youre looking for restaurants and gift shops, stay at Mather or Trailer Village. There are no tall ponderosa pines here. Its predominantly a desert environment with junipers and scrub pines. This campground is more about nature than conveniences. Its a true gem of Grand Canyon.

Well spaced out. Nice campsite. Bathrooms right down the way. Had a great time!
@MaryM8380528 · Camped on May 10, 2024 at Campsite #15
This campground is just big enough for 22 sites, and they are all placed carefully so that each site has privacy via boulders and trees.Yavapai is up in the hills below Granite Mountain, and it's quiet, the night sky is filled with stars, and during the day, there are great views looking out to the lower lands surrounding Prescott; the campground seems far away from the town, but is actually only a few minutes drive to get there, In case you need supplies, or are suddenly craving a pizza.The only recommendation I have is to make a big, colorful map of local hiking trails and post it on a board at each of the 2 bathroom and water pump sites.

What a great campground! A real hidden gem. Beautiful sites, well maintained and quiet and peaceful - really has the feel of being away despite being so close to Prescott. Great view of the night sky! We will be back!

This was my 4th time staying at this campground. It is one of my favorites in Arizona. Beautiful views, clean sites and bathrooms. Its close to town, and the trails are not too difficult.

The Bathrooms here are clean and well supplied. The sites are kept clean as well. It is quite and shady. Best to come up at the start or end of the season. It can get very warm during the summer.

Nice quiet area, clear vault toilets and nice hosts that you don't really know are there. Cell coverage isn't good, but that's a plus :)

@TeresaM2076490 · Camped on Apr 16, 2024 at Campsite #20
The site was absolutely beautiful! All the sites are pretty private.
@CraigH8329221 · Camped on Apr 13, 2024 at Campsite #1
All we can say is WOW!Our site #1 was very private. We did get out 28' 5th wheel into the spot without much trouble. These sites are very spread out and the other campers there for our 6 nites were dead quiet (luck of the draw) so it was beyond relaxing. This campground is also very clean. Our 5 year old Golden had a great time running around in the field next to our site and swimming in Granite Lake, just up the road. We already booked another week there!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
