I understand it's winter season but if you're going to have open bathrooms you should have open showers as well. It would be great to see showers at this location. I camp everywhere in the winter and most places have showers. The bathroom part is nice but a shower is needed for mens and women's.

We went camping this fall after the park is closed down to one loop and it was Beautiful and Peaceful . Joe and Sandi the host are super people . The only thing that was missing was the presence of rangers patrolling the loop . Awesome place to camp in the summer months with fishing , boating and jet skiing. We will be going back !! Thank you, Joe and Sandi, for all you do !!Kathy and Alan

Very nice campOnly negative comments are about the bathroom There was no shower. If the bathroom has running water in the fall, it should has shower accommodations

I would love to camp here through the fall / winter HOWEVER the lack of shower facilities is a major deficit.

My experience was good, I have not had the access to all locations for a total evaluation. I will return again next year.

Very nice campground at the lake. Quiet although there is a little noise from the road across the lake. Clean restrooms with flush toilets. I didnt find anywhere to buy firewood so I ended up using nearby deadwood.

Camphost attentive. Quiet at night lots of families with children who were having a great time playing outside. So nice to hear them having fun.

Just got a new travel trailer and wanted to try it out locally. Beautiful grounds, clean, quiet and a beautiful lake.

The location and setting were very nice. We camped after Labor Day so a lot of the park was closed.My only complaint was the bathrooms need more shelving or a bench to put things on. Meaning, if I went to the restroom before the shower, I had no place to put my stuff while using the restroom.Some paper towels would also have been nice, but I understand why you don't have them - just more waste and mess.The Showers could definetly use some updating.I was in campsite 70 to let you know what bath I used, in case other locations might be better.

Area was nice overall, however, the shoreline at the campsite was covered in large rocks and made it dangerous to fish as we had hoped. The satellite image showed different and found out that was just done this past spring. No bait available at this campground which sucked. We hope to revisit again now knowing of better sites to reserve.

We rented site #276 in the New Duck Loop. Grass was mowed, site was clean, yard hydrant nearby worked (great water flow), and we had a white pickup truck with door panel markings drive by slowly on the first day in the mid-afternoon, which led me to believe they check the campground after check-in time. Bathrooms were reasonably well cleaned and toilet paper present, however the door hinge was broken, and the stall sides were rusted through at the bottom and loose. Our site was the last, right next to woods, and there was a lot of poison ivy so beware, but the woods offered shade and some cover to our tents in rain, which was nice. The water levels were very low (I think about 3-4 ft lower than usual!) so there was a lot of "beach", which the kids enjoyed, but messed up boating. At $28/night, I think it could be cheaper, but since it was just one night I think it was okay. Check in/out was easy and quick.

Quiet, beautiful place to recharge! Everyone friendly yet stays to self. Our family loves to include this on our summer itinerary - hiking, kayaking, tent camping, cooking over firepit.

Our campsite was wet and muddy (needed more gravel). The host was a miserable guy who thought he was someone special. The worst part was that the ladies across the road from us had two little yipper dogs who barked at the wind blowing and had their WHOLE yard area fenced in so the dogs could get almost to the road to bark at everything and everyone. I love dogs but there's a limit to listening to them when you're camping.

This campground really needs some TLC. The sites werent very level and the electric box at my site was old and wonky. It worked, but it was very difficult getting plugged in. However, the cell connectivity was better than I expected it to be.
@DonnaC2645170 · Camped on Jul 28, 2024 at Campsite #118
Really need more electric sites, we stayed at PLOO loop, the bath house has electric, why cant more sites have it. Also need better access to the lake, climbing down the path with rocks and tree roots so dangerous . Also a lot of trees bent and ready to fall hope no one gets hurt.
@NatalieM207990 · Camped on Jul 19, 2024 at Campsite #10
Overall it was a wonderful trip. We enjoy kayaking and swimming at the lake. Our only complaints were that the breaker was hanging off the electrical box when we arrived. They also did not have a single handicap accessible bathroom facility in the entire campground, despite advertising some of the loops as handicap accessible.

Nice campground. A camp store would have been nice. Bathrooms need updated also.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
