We love the closeness to our residence. The gate attendants are great and personal people and so is the camp host and his wife

Volunteer at the gate was superb. Incredibly friendly and helpful. He seemed as if he was expecting us. Gave us great directions so let us write to our camping spot. Our spot would've been right on the water if the reservoir was at Highwater, but this late in the water level was down so we were essentially camped next to a draw. The site was level and easy to access. Were in good shape. The bathroom was clean and stocked. The park itself actually looks like a park. The entire area is incredible and well worth the stop.

Was a wonderful camping trip only complaint was the camp site next to us had a loud generator late at night and a light shining at our tent made it kind of hard to enjoy the peace but the rest of the trip was decent

The electric hookup box was at the front of the site. Luckily I had an extension cord and barely reached the box. Also no water on site on the site we were at. Site 7 in believe. Had to use my 150 of hose and 50 of Mother in laws hose to reach nearest shared faucet. Park was quiet and well maintained.

The area is very clean and relaxing. Entering in the people at the gate were very welcoming and nice. Wish both bathrooms were alike. The bathroom up by the camp host is nice and has ac and a shower vs the other one. The area overall is very nice and I feel secure knowing the lock the gates at night. Definitely will come back!

This is great camp ground. Its rather isolated which means quiet, lots of tress and close to the water.

We camped in the primitive camping area at Spencer Creek, so we knew there would not be electricity, water or nearby bathrooms. Because no one else was camping that weekend, the camp host facilitated our move to a campsite with better tent set up spaces. He also offered to bring firewood if we ran out (it was fairly COLD that weekend!). Despite the cold weather and rain the next day, we enjoyed ourselves very much sitting around the fire until late into the night. The next day, white steam was rising from the lake (the water was warm, the temp was cold!) giving it an ethereal look. We saw many migrating birds fly over the lake. We were happy to learn that the primitive campsites will be open year long and plan to visit again.

This is a basic camp ground. There was shade at most all sites. We did not use the restroom so I cant provide a rating for it or the showers. Our stay was one night only. As it was the end of the season there were very few other campers so there was no noise. The terrain is hilly so a walk around the campground was a bit taxing for this 68 year old.

Loved our stay. The staff were all very nice. Clean facilities. I loved that everything was all very close and there was so much access to the water. Good space between sites. This is going on my favorites list.

The campsite hadnt been cleaned in weeks. The grill was full of ashes and a pile of ashes on the ground where guests have been scraping it out. The table was filthy. I was a volunteer at lake Keystone so I know how things should be. Leaves were everywhere has not been blown away and burnt this year. Limbs down everywhere. Toilets stopped up. The only water for the outer campsites had to run hoses across the road.

Nice sites. Heads up - no water at sites, so be sure to fill up at the shared hydrants before parking and setting up.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
