First, the weather was awesome for our stay. Blue creek has amazing views of the lake. The view at sunset is outstanding.

Blue creek offers some of the most beautiful parts of the lake and doesn't get the crowd you find in other sections of the lake. Restrooms are cleaner and well kept, showers are clean, hot water, well lit. Love the area. Thank you camp host for your attention to detail.

Very quiet because no one really socialized as they used to. We've been going to Blue Creek for well over 25 years with family and it used to be that everyone was friendly. I guess that's a sign of the times. The playground and activity set ups have been upgraded and were very inviting.

Very quiet, clean bathrooms and a wonderful place to camp.

I had site #25 with lake view. Don't be fooled by picture on website. Only shade was in morning. I was in direct sun rest of day. Might not be bad in Spring or Fall but Summer was torture. Otherwise clean park. Concrete barriers surrounding drive could use some repair. Most of the sites I saw were not very level. Clean restrooms. Quiet park.

We had a shaded site that backed up for a lake view. Campground and restrooms/shower house clean. Great lake for kayaking. Like the separate shower rooms, but the weather was a little warm and the temperature inside the shower room was almost stifling. I'm sure in cooler weather it would be fine.

Well maintained camp/RV sites and clean bathrooms with shower facilities.

Overall amazing stay! Camp-host, Matthew, was super kind and did an excellent job with grounds upkeep! My kiddo also thought he was absolutely amazing. We ended up having an emergency and the rangers and camp-host made sure we had a safe place to stay for the duration of getting everything situated. When a tornado came through the area the camp-host went above and beyond to notify everyone as quickly as possible to get to shelter, so grateful. (Tornado luckily missed the campground) Met some awesome people, saw fireflies, went boating and fishing, lots of bird watching (especially the red cardinals), and enjoyed some beautiful sunsets.

I was unable to reach the campground so we could let them know we would not be there until the morning of our scheduled departure date. However, while fishing, Matt, the Site Host, dropped by to check on us, and he made us feel very welcome. He told us where to find him, and we look forward to seeing him again in the future. This was where we started our honeymoon on the night we married, August 9, 1986, and it's always been a favorite. We raised the kids fishing at this specific site, and now the grandkids. There aren't a lot of fish in that particular creek, but we enjoy the solitude. We can't stay overnight these days, but we don't mind paying for the site, so we can come on that evening or the next day (or both) and have THAT spot rather than hanging out in the day use area.

We had an excellent lakefront site with near-level parking. Restrooms were clean.

The 1st spot we reserved had no power so we had to move to another spot and lost a day because it was already rent out . The park is probably the finest of all the Corp parks

Did bank fishing and catch some fair size catfish. Had to lift one side of camper 1-1/2 inch to level. Bring 30Amp extention. Ensure you fill your water tank. Great weekend camping place.

We spent my 66th birthday and really enjoyed the camping trip we had in Blue Creek. The place is beautiful with really nice semi-private campsites. The facilities are very well kept and clean. I have to say the shower there was the best I've ever had, seriously the best!We hadn't been out camping in quite a while and this was kind of a test run for getting back to the outdoors. I retired 2 years ago and we sold our home in Denver and moved to Oklahoma. So far, we have had a wonderful experience and are happy with our choice. We want to fish and enjoy nature, and this is a perfect state for it.We didn't have much luck fishing this time but did catch a white catfish that was about 16-18 inches and we shared it for dinner. I lost a lot of bait, and it turned out to be a softshell turtle. He finally messed up and got hooked. That turtle put up a huge fight and it took quite some time and effort to reel him in. It was a letdown because we thought it was a big fish. But it was still really fun and a test of skill catching him with such thin line. There were a lot of Mallard Ducks hanging around begging for food and if you don't like them, they can be a pest. I love animals and have an attachment to birds. One of the ducks followed me around the almost the entire time. I named him Dr. Drake!So all in all, we love this place and will definitely return!

Campground was clean. Bathrooms seem to be quite new, with restrooms on one side of building, and 4 showers available on the other side of the building. Bean bag toss, volleyball net, and playground available. Only problem was detours on highways, which made us arrive after darkness.

It was great until the lawn mowing crew came thru early in the morning mowing over bedrock flinging rocks at my vehicle. So we rushed to pack up and leave before any other damage was done. Was planning to stay till 4 but I wasnt in the mood. Been here plenty of times before and had a great time though.

Site had poison ivy. Poor lighting in bathroom and shower areas. Clean campsites and bathrooms.

The swimming is nice but the camping is a mess. There are no clearly defined boundaries between campsites so a group of like 20 in 4 or 5 vehicles came in at 7 or 8pm popping up several tents between us and the people beside us. I had to stop them from setting up one of their tents within 10 feet of my daughters’ tent. Then they hung a bright ass light and turned on the generator and loud music, which all stayed on well past 10pm. There was no one managing the property still there that I could tell, so we just had to deal with the noise. I go camping to hear the nature and see the stars. Their bright light and loud generator and music ruined it.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
