The campground is open all year. 33 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 18 and 50 feet. All sites are currently reservable. 19 sites have electric and water hookups. 7 sites have water hookups. Fees range from $14.00 to $20.00.

Camp site was very clean and well kept, we had a big hill on our camp site that the kids loved to play on. Would stay at this site again.

Beautiful campground with spacious sites, all with views of the water. Potable water available throughout the grounds, but not at each campsite. Be mindful of ticks, which appear to love Gentry Creek as much as I did.

Definitely not a location for rvs over 30 ft. Narrow access roads and overhanging branches. Volunteer very helpful in finding suitable site. Will not stay here again.

Beautiful park. The blacktop pad was somewhat broken up. Didn't check the bath house or washrooms. My 31' camper barely fit. I had to put the truck in the grass. I'd come back here again, but understand that it won't be perfect.

Great location.Bathrooms and showers were well maintained.Staff was friendly and helpful.110 power was not working, no maintenance personnel on available on weekends, however staff opted us to move or use power from empty site. Problem solved.

The camp host are great people! Nice quiet atmosphere for the entire family to enjoy! We spend several weeks a year at this campground due to the great hospitality of Karen and Daryl.

I like this camping area. The only issue is the pad for the camper to park on needs to be repaired. The blacktop is falling apart Could also install more water faucets. Had to use 100ft of water hose.

Those bathroom are to hot to use

Men’s bathroom inoperable, while had to use women’s bathroom that was very outdated. Only one bathroom/shower for the entire campground. Sites are poorly marked. If you think you have water access, you better bring a 150 ft hose, plus in most situations two or more sites share one faucet so if you’re not first there you get no water. Also at most sites you have to back up a hill to get to level ground. Looks like the Corps of Engineers has ignored needed improvements to this campground for over 30 years.

Quiet, clean campsite, on the water!

Gentry Creek is a great place to spend a few days. The campground manager and campground volunteer hosts were super friendly and keep the grounds in great shape. There was even a portable aquarium exhibit displaying fish from the local lake while we were there. The only negative for us was that the site we booked (site 17) was a terror to get our 25’ trailer into. We pulled in not knowing that we had to back in from the street about 75 yards down a narrow paved street with curves and park between 2 trees with about a foot on each side. After backing all the way out then back into the site, wife gave me a gold star. Over all though, it was a great stay. Just don’t book sites 17 or 18 unless you have a tent or smaller rig.
