Porum Landing Campground, OK
Porum Landing Campground in Haskell County is located 1 hr 19 min southeast of Broken Arrow, OK with an elevation of 689 feet. There are a total of 47 campsites. The campground is open all year. 46 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 10 and 50 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 44 sites have electric and water hookups. 1 site has electric hookups. 2 sites have water hookups. Fees range from $12.00 to $50.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground, boat ramp, swimming, marina. Activities include boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.

The app showed that most sites were reserved so we had to settle with one that was a little small for our camper. During our stay we noticed that none of the sites were occupied. Other than that it is a very nice campground.

a four wheeler kept driving around after quiet hrs was suppose to be at night , who ever it was kept reaving his engine at several camp spots making noise after 11 pm . road noise echoed real bad from the highway over the bridge every night real bad. had to take toilet paper to the bathhouse , being none was supplied , stayed for a week and the last day there, was the only time the bathrooms was cleaned . the campground is just old and not kept up like it should have been.

The address we had took us to the ranger station. Thank goodness someone was there to give us directions to the campground. The roads to the campground need to be repaired. They are not in the best shape and are very bumpy. We stayed only one night, but had a beautiful site overlooking the lake. It was very cold that night in early November 2024. The bathhouse was dated but was clean. The campground was quiet not many people. One day we do hope to return and enjoy the area more.

The camp ground is older but kept up very well. The staff does an excellent job cleaning the sites for the next campers. I love staying here.

Nice site, stayed three nights. No hiking there; closest is 6 miles away at Ladybird landing overlook. That is a nice trail but not maintained and lots of greenbrier and areas of high grass. Overall a good experience.

We have stayed here for years always good. We did have to move because electric didn't work but turned out ok. They could have had grass mowed. But not to bad.

Porum Landing has been a family favorite for more than 30 years. It has some of the cleanest water in Lake Eufaula making it a great area for swimming and water sports. We also enjoy fishing in this area for Catfish, Sand Bass (or White Bass), and Crappie. There are very often fishermen trolling the shorelines for Large Mouth Bass as well.The main Shower/Restrooms building is in desperate need of upgrades but is still usable.Reservations are a must and the prime spots get reserved for weekends as soon as they are available, 6 months prior to the chosen arrival date.

We love this area. Pretty quiet, 85% of the time. Beautiful area. Recommend highly. Really this is our go to spot.

Water pressure is a little low. The pad is tilted downhill pretty severe, but we could get the trailer level. All in all a good site and fantastic trip.

Quiet stay during the off season. Host on site though only had a passing wave amount of contact. Nicely laid out park with ample space between sites. Some of the driveways were deteriorating and a touch narrow, but there are signs of work being done as all sites had new frost free spigots. I must say though the main bathroom was a nightmare. Every surface was covered in a variety of dead flies and the oddly sunken showers had huge spiders in residence so I was not about to use the facilities. The bathroom at the boat launches were much cleaner.

Porum Landing is beautiful. This location is really nice, but as we do not like direct neighbors (unless we are camping with friends) we went ahead and reserved the location next to us as well. With no direct neighbors, this is a great spot with a great view.

Overall, a very nice CG. About a half hour northwest is "Checotah",the hometown of Carrie Underwood. Highly recommend breakfast at Sallies Cafe there.

Our stay was great! I dont have much nice things to say about the camp host though My husband & I have camped at Porum Landing for years & we usually never leave the park once we are there, Sat eve we decided to go eat dinner in the cove. We had no clue the gate closed at 10pm from what used to be 11pm, my fault I didnt pay attention or read my reservation paperwork We arrived at the gate at 10:15pm realizing the gate was completely locked up We were with a set of friends & our daughter, our friends had a camper inside the park as wellMy husband knocked on the camp hosts door, my husband asked if could he would kindly please let us in?? He told my husband we should have read the signs & rules are rules??? 15 min late, really??? I have a pet left behind in my trailer, they cant lock people out like emergency vehicles call the Police Dept. We werent emergency vehicles, but the officer said hes supposed to let us back in. Got the gate code Thank you McIntosh Police yall rock! Both my husband & our friend are retired police You need to get a new camp host, we miss Virginia!!
