I only had a one night stay at Belle Starr, but it was a good one. First, the park is easy to find and convenient to local restaurants and shopping. Maybe 10 miles at the most. The gatehouse was closed for the season, but I did meet a host that was riding around in her golf cart. Lucky for me because I was having trouble finding my site. The sites are very poorly marked. When she spotted me, she offered to give me a quick ride to the site to check it out. She then offered another site that would be better for me. Which I took her up on.The park is well maintained and the electric and water hookups worked fine. They do have a dump station on the way out, but I did not use it. I also did not use the restrooms or showers.

This was my first time in this campground and it wont be my last. I was in site 15 and it was level and had great connectivity. I also had a wonderful view of the lake without being on the lake. This is an older campground, but so charming. I will definitely be back. I cant attest to the bathhouses because I didnt use them. The dump station as you come in is buttoned up like Fort Knox and is difficult to use, but the host told me theres another one thats much easier to use in another loop.

Nice and quiet, but the grass stickers made our puppy miserable. Otherwise, no complaints.

The campground was well maintained. My site (C30,28)was a level concrete pad with water and 50/30 electric. Verizon cell service was good. Could not get any TV stations. Bathrooms could use some updating. Camp hosts were very helpful and friendly

Perfect Location. We had a water view looking out all the windows. Bathrooms were close. Could not ask for weather.

Always enjoy camping at belle star, the sites are great, only wish central loop sites 20-32 would remain open for the winter season

The cooking facilities at my lot weren't functional in the slightest. I had to use the grill at the neighboring lot

Site description and photo need to be updated. Photo seems to quite different than the actual site. The description says shade and the photo shows multiple trees, but trees were dead or dying and shade was nonexistent.

Absolutely gorgeous park. The east part of the park is perfect for boating as the shores are full of sand and soft. The RV spots dont have sewage or freshwater so fill your tanks before you come.

We enjoy our time at Belle Star every time we come. The camp spaces are large and level. Many have large trees for shade. The access to the water is good. We love coming here and relaxing!

Volunteer host, Dot, was excellent. Bathrooms could use some TLC. Screens ripped or missing so it had bugs. Also very cramped quarters except for the handicapped shower. Otherwise no place dry to get dressed. Site was very nice, long, fairly level where the RV sat, great site width and shaded. Would go back

Belle Star is a beautiful park on Lake Eufaula. Very quiet and serine. Plenty of shade and beautiful views of the lake. Lots of campsites right on the lake. Great for RVers and tent campers. A bit hard to find with a lack of signs. Use GPS.

Theres a very nice private beach on this loop. We had a great stay. The space is tight in this particular spot. There was not much room for my zip on room to my teardrop trailer. Ants were everywhere, you cant wear sandals here. Park and environment were all great.

C47 -We enjoyed our stay for the most part. This was our second trip out and new to the travel trailer life. We had to share water with the neighbor, thank goodness he had a splitter! We now have one just in case. It is dog friendly but one morning there was a loose dog roaming the campsite, on Friday a new neighbor came in, chained his dog out in the Oklahoma heat and left it there! ( Away from their tt) All weekend...Another neighbors dog barked constantly at everything all day. We have 2 dogs that go with us everywhere. Never left behind. We did use the showers and we were pleasantly surprised. There are no hooks in the showers to hang your things up off the floor but there are ledges in most of the stalls. We took our dogs to the Loves outside of Eufala to run in the dog park since there's no where to exercise them in the park. Beaches were nice and not crowded. We were here for the Whole Hawg Days in Eufala.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
