This is one of our favourite camping spots due to the beauty and proximity to us. Availability of portable drinking water would be great with a washing area for tent campers. Would save washing cooking utensils in the river keeping the river cleaner.

This campground was an excellent plan B as the campground I originally booked burned in a wildfire. I was able to book a site at Hause Creek on a weekend in August within a month notice. We ended up having a great time here and have decided to come back in 2024. The riverside sites accommodate mainly tents and small RVs. Be careful what site you get, there are a number of them where part of the driveway has washed away leaving a rather steep cliff with no curb to stop you from going over the edge! We got an interior pull through for our 32 TT & it worked out well. The host, Summer and her husband couldnt have been more friendly & helpful. She recommended a hike for us that was close & fit our fitness level. Another warning, there is zero water to be had at this campground. Camp hosts think there might be a plan to bring water back, but assume there is none & bring plenty from home.

It was a good experience. So, the campsite I had booked was occupied by some unruly campers. So as soon as we stopped to look what's going on, the camp manager's wife came to meet us and she talked about the negative experience she is having with the campers who refused to vacate after their booking has expired. She gave another campsite that was more private and also some logs for campfire. The previous one was by the river which I was looking forward to but was more open and near the road. Overall, it was a good experience.

We went during the week and skipped the weekend crowds. The campsite was clean and tidy as were the rest of the camp grounds. We have been here 1 other time at a different area of the campground and it was a great trip then as well.

As always, the campground was clean, as well as the bathrooms. It was nice and quiet, no fireworks. The hosts are wonderful and always around if you need anything.

Beautiful campground with lovely water views and clean bathrooms! The campground host Summer was extremely helpful and helped us move to sites with better views that had cancelled reservations. Highly recommend this campground to anyone in the area!

While at Hause Creek Campground, we had a wonderful time staying by the river that flows through the site.

We were at Site 20, which is probably the biggest site in the campground. And it was a nice spot. But be aware that the pictures of Site 20 show the spot right on the edge of the creek, which is not true. You park about 75 feet away and there is a barrier going to prevent vehicles from approaching the picnic area any closer. That was a bit of a disappointment. So if you want to go down to the picnic table area, you will be walking about 75 feet to it. But once you go down there, you have good access to the creek. But you will be walking a bit. Cell service is pretty good there, maybe 2-3 bars on ATT.

Site 19 was along the river and had access to a rocky beach along the shore. Most of sites at this campground have little access to the river, so it was a little awkward to keep other campers from using the same space. Once we had that sorted out it was very relaxing. We enjoyed the bats hunting insects between the trees at dusk.

Nice private campground with a really nice access point to the river that feels like a personal beach. It was the best campsite in my opinion. Lots of shade and trees. Bathrooms were in nice condition with air fresheners hanging inside. Overall, I was very surprised and happy with the site as I had no idea what to expect. I could still see our neighbors but there was some trees and element of privacy you don’t always get at campsites. I would definitely return.

Campsite 14 was okay, we really didn’t like how there wasn’t enough shade. We literally had to move around our site where the shade turned from the beaming sun. Phone service (T-mobile) was terrible even though we had iPhone 12 and 13 pro max, 5G wasn’t even working there at all. During the day it’s really hot, while during night time it’s really chilly. Good thing we were right next to the water, that helped with the hot temp! Our hosts (Ms. Summer and her husband) was amazing guest hosts. They were really friendly, nice, amazing people!!! Thanks guys for taking care of us and making our camping trip great, we really appreciate it. We’re already looking into reserving with hause creek next time BUT definitely going to another spot where there’s more shade😊. Overall our experience here was awesome, thanks to our hosts. Definitely coming back!!!

Campground is nice, next no a beautiful river.
@CodyW162 · Camped on Aug 6, 2021 at Campsite #16
Clean gampground, clean sani cans, small parking spurs on most the sites. There are a few pull through parking sites for anyone that didn't want to unhook and squeeze next to their trailer. Most sites would be better for tent/smaller motorhome camping. Overall clean, peaceful campground. Just a warning on parking spots.
@CORIF985 · Camped on Jul 27, 2021 at Campsite #17
Campsite was clean and the camp hostess was super nice. Only negative comment would be that in the description of the campsite it says there is a designated swim area and there is not. Otherwisw it was perfect!

Wonderful helpful camp host! Easy pull throughs and level. Great privacy not too close together

The most amazing campground to date. Truly appreciated the picturesque landscape and beautiful river.
@sanjaym690 · Camped on Jun 18, 2021 at Campsite #20
We loved our trip to Hause Creek! Our campsite was right next to the water and separated by trees from our neighbors (who were also very friendly). We were able to make the 45 minute drive to the entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park with no problems! We will be staying here again!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
