We werent able to stay due to fires and tried to get our money back but the system locked us out. We do love this campground.

We always love staying here in the tall trees and lots of trails to explore. For a real camping experience take your families here. Dont let them bring electronics and just do family stuff like cornhole and smores and make lots and lots of memories.

Used this camp site as "grand central station" for a group needing 4+ sites. Lots of room for multiple tents, canopy, and more. Parking may not be great for RV or trailer 20+ foot. Water tap quite close. If others want to come again, sites 33, 34, 14 and 16 are quite close and back to back.

Good time. Plenty of space for a couple tents at site. This site (31) has trail to the lake close by, most others don't. Saw deer coming nearby multiple times. You can hear main highway traffic, but not surprising. Few mosquitos or other critters. May be hard to fit 20 foot camper/trailer here, but some sites have sufficient.

It was an okay spot. Would've preferred the side closer to the lake. The road was noisy at times.

Sites are large and not right on top of each other (although you can see your neighbors). We walked to the campground next door and it was jam-packed, I was very glad we weren't staying over there! Highway noise was to be expected, and the outhouse was always busy. No issues with bugs early in the season (Memorial Day weekend). We will definitely come back!

Lovely, clean campground. Friendly hosts and nice and quiet.

The campground is clean and well maintained. It's an "old-school" kind of campground in that it has very few hook ups or bathrooms. The bathrooms that are there are just simple, clean outhouses. There is lots of walking out by Rimrock Lake. It's worth noting that Fighter jets come through that valley sometimes on training runs. It's exciting and I like it. You can forage for wood in the campground and currently have fires in the fire pits. There is a small general store at the private campground next-door. Also, the possibility of Using their dump station. Collin the camp host is nice and very helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at Indian Creek Campground. Our site was spacious and private. The camp host came by to greet us. We walked out to the dry lake bed several times, the water was too far away to walk to, we weren't expecting that, but it was okay. We were treated to a fly-over by an awesome fighter jet!! Unexpected thrill for sure!

It was a place to stop for the night, but not that exciting. It is mostly pretty open between sites with little actual privacy. This is probably good for large families with room for a lot of kids to run around. The parking aprons are deteriorated, and the whole place seems pretty old school and run down with tiny wooden bathrooms. The main drawback is that it's way too close to Highway 12 and the traffic noise is very loud far into the night. I also didn't realize that Rimrock Lake is a reservoir that is very low in the fall; it was about 1/4 mile walk out across a gravel and mud flat to the actual water! The camp host was a nice guy who was helpful and seemed to be trying to hold the whole thing together.

This is a great campground. It is tree covered and within walking distance of Rimrock Lake and Indian Creek. I was there during the week, and it was nice and quiet. The only downside is the lack of potable water, so bring what you need.
@LindaC3432477 · Camped on Aug 26, 2023 at Campsite #9
The campground seemed very rundown. The picnic table at our site was a total joke, it is rotten wood and growing vegetation on it, the legs are uneven, it is basically gross and unusable! The tent site is super rocky and full of roots, it is not even an even space to put the tent on. Very disappointing. There were two dogs constantly roaming around the campground and getting into people's stuff. The camp host said it is from the neighbor house and the dogs do that all the time. That's unacceptable really. It's not safe to have unleased dogs going around, during the day time and also at night. If the camp host cannot stop that, maybe someone else needs to be the camp host. The bathrooms at this campground are also very gross and not well kept. We won't be going back to this campground anymore.

Nice campground. Toilets old outhouses..in immediate need of new facilities. This is a large busy campground that deserves better!
@NatalieM207990 · Camped on Aug 19, 2023 at Campsite #38
The lake was great! There is a viewpoint off of highway 12 going West past the campground and its a great view of a waterfall.
@RobertL7452920 · Camped on Aug 16, 2023 at Campsite #31
Nice campground on lake, but Highway 12 and all its noisy traffic is far too close. Also military jets and helicopters fly over at low altitude. Nearby Clear Lake is much quieter and more scenic.
@AndrewS4701634 · Camped on Aug 14, 2023 at Campsite #11
This is a really nice campground. Spacious, shaded sites. Easy access to Rimrock Lake. We stayed at site 11 which was easily twice the size of sites I have stayed at in other campgrounds. Overall a great experience and we would stay here again. Missing one star for the existing vault toilets, which were a little dingy. Hope to see them upgraded to more modern CXTs someday.
@KennethB453248 · Camped on Aug 12, 2023 at Campsite #19
Good campsites with lots of room and friendly camp host. Close to lake with other lakes and streams nearby and hiking trails.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
