Well as soon as we arrived at camp we were happily greeted by staff member Jenna at the front gate. As we spent our trip at camp we were happy to see that Alexander Springs maintains its prestine look. Everywhere we went we saw staff cleaning and maintaining the area safe. It is always a pleasure to come to Alexander Springs Durring our stay Jenna stopped by to make sure we were doing ok and if we needed anything to let them know. It's always great to know the staff care about the people camping in the area. Can't wait to return with the family again.

Park was clean and well maintained. Bathrooms always clean and well equipped. Park rangers respectful, helpful and kind. We will definitely come back!

Pretty bad that the springs access closes at 5:30. Sunset was not until 7:30. Also why would you remodel the restrooms at the springs during the busiest time of the year. The bathrooms on B loop were in bad shape. Broken faucets in the showers, and the sinks where water was running constantly resulting in no hot water for the showers.

Friendly staff. Nice clean camp ground. The campsite was surrounded by trees to provide a little privacy and some shade. Would stay again

I have been camping at alexander springs for 8 years with 2 other family's and I have to say this year everything was the cleanest we have seen. The staff was for the most part friendly and the park looked like it was getting some much needed work done. We normally all book the same camp sites every year and we were pleasantly surprised to see they might be fixing the roads in loop A that have needed repair for 8 years atleast.

I would like to mention how great was my vacation on Alexander Springs , this is my third time there, the reason Im coming back is because the staff is great! I really had to mention one of the managers even went to my site to pick up my trash ! That was amazing!

Beautiful campground with Springs that stay at 72 degrees. Campsite was not level but had bear box, fire pit and table and was clean and close to hiking trails and shower houses. Would definitely stay again and pick a level site. Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff.

Beautiful spring and grounds. We rented one of the pavilions, which was almost perfect. We would love to camp there, but the lack of electric and water at each site is a dealbreaker. However, we love to come for the day and will definitely be back.

Renting a kayak was a super experience for us. We found the staff at the ranger station to be so friendly and helpful.

It was a wonderful place to camp. We participated in everything the park had to offer. We kayaked, biked, and hiked.The park and bathrooms were clean. The staff was very helpful . I also want to say Jenna went the extra mile to help solve a problem after closing time. Alexander Springs was a wonderful place!

Park employees were pleasant and tried to be helpful.Our site was close to a camper who ran his generator all day, as much as the quiet time rules allowed and beyond.I had to walk over to the site at 11pm, 1 hour AFTER quite hours start, to ask him to turn off the generator. The parks need to implement new rules for generator use!Beyond the generator issue, the springs were wonderful!The bathrooms and showers were clean and maintained well. We would like to visit again to hike more trails and see more of the area. Maybe there wont be a generator running all day and night on our next visit.

The hiking trail by the springs has been undergoing repairs for the past 5 years. The access is overgrown, it doesnt look like anything has been done in a very long time. With the amount charged for camping and day admission it should be fixed so customers can enjoy the experience. Disappointed

Had a very private site with lots of greenery so pretty quiet. Staff was great. Lots to do with the spring for swimming and kayaking and some dirt trails for biking. An older campground but kept up well. Had a great visit.

Great experience except. 1) road and site pads in A loop are badly in need of repair. 2) the boardwalk has been "under repair" for years!! Get it done!The staff were excellent-- friendly and helpful.

CleanlinessPlace is privately run, so the rate is double what you would pay if the USFS was managing it directly. And it's all dry camping. We got there a little early and they said that if our site wasn't ready we could pay for the day use and wait in that parking lot. Fortunately the site was ready so we went in. But in checking the day use parking later on there is NO parking there for RV's so no idea where they expected us to park. Roads and pads are asphalt and are narrow with trees right against edge. We scraped palm fronds the whole way. No one trims trees. CG is very forested and we didn't get more than 50amps charge per day. Our 400ah battery was down to 72amps when we left after 3 days. Both sites we stayed in were very hard to get into. The first one (37) with tires one inch from edge on drivers side we could barely open trailer door due to tree on passenger side. The sites are all back-in and most of them are curved instead of angled. Have never seen curved back-in sites. All sites come with fire rings, tables, and bear boxes. But note that about a third of them are on the wrong side of the pad. There is a good amount of road noise and because it's Florida you can't close your windows. Was told there had been a bear in the campground but we never saw it. Restrooms were not clean, rust and hard water stains on walls. No one cleans above the 6ft level. Windows and vents filthy. They have a few souvenirs for sale at the office, and their concession store down by the spring/river surprisingly was open when we were here. They have kayaks for rent at the concession stand, but you can't rent them there. You have to walk up to the office to rent and pay for them for some reason. They have lots of signs down by the spring, some are misspelled. Even some that were professionally printed on corrugated poster board. Dump station was closed when we were here. And all of the boardwalks have apparently been closed for years.

What a wonderful place to camp! We stayed in loop C and the springs were only a 7 minute walk away. Bathrooms were super clean and nighttime was peaceful.

Very clean facilities, and friendly staff. Probably the cleanest restrooms I've seen at a campground, will definitely be back.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
