This is a wonderful site, close to the river and beautiful. However there isnt a lot of level ground, so even though its large, dont expect to be able to put a lot of tents out. We wont be returning however because its at the end of the park and a trail leads to it, making most of the other campers think its okay just to walk through our site. There are ways to the water besides our site and during covid I didnt go camping to be around a bunch of strangers. Will return to Mt Hood but not this site. Also the fire pit needs cleaned out and the restrooms were terrible even though they were marked as cleaned the same day we were there. There are other places I love on the river, this just wasnt one of them

Spacious campsite and beautiful view. It will definitely be a regular spot to come back to year after year.

My family and I camped here one night in early September. We reserved site #15 which had a nice view of the Clackamas River. It was a steep grade down to the rocky shore, but it was a wonderful place to hang out for the day. At night it was also nice hearing the sound of the water. The camp host was very sweet and made checking in quick and easy. There was other campers close by and we had to walk around their campground to get to the bathroom. Also, the parking was a few yards from the campsite but a flat and easy walk. It would have been nice to have a little more privacy. However, everything else was perfect. Great campground for family, friends and pets.

Love this campsite. It's very beautiful. Love the sites. Only draw back is river access is not super easy to most sites. All except site #1 I believe. Other than that it's great.

Unknown camper came into unreserved spot at 2am and started firing shots within the campsite. We left in a rush as soon as the gun shots started, and continued for 30 minutes.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
