Small, clean camp spot with good (usually) fishing.

Very clean. Very clean bathrooms. Friendly staff. Quiet place. Fishing was the worst I had ever experienced at Lake H. No one caught a fish: my group, other campers, other visitors. Zilch.

Had a great time, glad fires werent banned this year. We enjoyed fishing, paddle boarding, wading in the water, & polar-plunging off the dock. The lake was incredibly crowded Saturday, but otherwise pretty quiet Sunday-Monday. Saw eagles and otters. Bathrooms were super clean.

very quiet space, the lake is not grand view, but very clear and good for fishing. The host warren and kareen both are nice.

Regravel the pads and fill in the pot holes

Lake Harriet may not look like much without nearby hiking or non-water recreational options but it's a great campground. The outhouse was hands down the cleanest pit toilet I've ever seen. Like, no joke, I took a picture! Big props to the camp hosts that are keeping that spotless and fragrance-free, if you know what I mean.

Great little campground. Excellent, welcoming, conscientious camp hosts. Especially appreciated really clean bathrooms. Went above and beyond keeping campground and surrounding area picked up

Beautiful location, super clean campsites and toilets, excellent camp hosts, great fishing -- lot of brown trout that they would like to eradicate from the lake.

It's a nice place to fish but the campground is very dusty from the crushed rock drive

Very nice, clean camp ground. Camp host very nice, informative information. Before we left we started planning a trip back next year.

I am 100% sincere when I say I have never been in a cleaner bathroom in my life, let alone a campsite. The campsite host Warren clearly takes pride in maintaining the site, and his care for the place is contagious. While not the most private of campgrounds, I felt my friends and I were able to still enjoy ourselves to the fullest extent. Its a beautiful area, family friendly, and safe. The 2 and a half hour drive was completely worth it in my opinion. I hope to return in the future.

Our favorite camp spot in Oregon!

The camp host, Warren, does an amazing job taking care of the Lake Harriet campground. This was the cleanest camp bathroom I’ve ever had at a camp ground! He actively greets guests, explains rules and is friendly and available. Kareen is also lovely and we saw her working hard to keep the campsites spotless. Everyone is lucky to have these two on the job!

Only drawback is there is almost zero privacy between campsites.. you pretty much crawl out of your tent in the morning and boom there your neighbor is.

I was lucky enough to get the only spot with a direct lake view! There was no running water access though. The hand pump was locked. The pit toilets were clean, which was very nice.
@Stephanie13298 · Camped on Jul 14, 2022 at Campsite #3
This is a beautiful place to camp. It is safe, small, and quiet. Two clean pit toilets, well-water to pump, no water/electric at sites. Sites are close to the boat launch. Good fishing, paddling, and wildlife viewing. Saw many eagles, and a few otters. Kids caught newts and toads. *NF-57 from Hwy 224 is still closed, must access via Timothy (as of July 2022).

Very nice, small campground. Good fishing. The shoes were nice sized and tidy. The bathrooms were very clean when we arrived on Wednesday, after it rained on Friday they got quite muddy and still hadn't been cleaned up when we left Saturday evening. Would visit again.

you kept us informed prior to our stay, the ticket was already there upon our arrival, bathrooms were always clean, neighbors not too close, love that it is right next to the lake...hopefully the smoke which was ebbing and flowing all week will be "gone" during our next visit--next year...it is now one of our favs for camping and fly fishing...

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
