Campground was pretty quiet (we went during the week) and clean. The tent pads are a good size (fit our 5 and 6 person tents just fine) and well marked, although theyre definitely not flat. The bathrooms were clean, but you have to make sure to keep the door and lid closed!

So many things to love about Middle Forks from the connivence of getting there from the Eastside, to the beautiful river and relatively easy hikes for little ones, to the robust berry picking opportunities during summer season. That said, the mosquitos in July are HORRENDOUS even with generous application of deet-containing insect repellant. As much as we love the location, we're not sure we could stand the mosquito experience again.

Sites are rustic but space is as described. Vault toilets are clean and dont smell bad. Drinking water tastes good and is plentiful. The host is full of pertinent information and friendly. Hikes are very beautiful and so many miles to discover. The recreational area is well maintained.

Great campsite and campground as usual. Kept cool in the river during one of the hottest weekends of the year so far.

It was our first time staying at this campground and it was great! We stayed at site 35, which is next to the camp host, and it was a clean and well kept spot. Not very much shade, but we appreciated all the wild salmon and blueberries around and the woods that were on the back side of our site. We were able to hang our hammocks, fit our 6 person tent with plenty of extra space, and have our pop up for shade, with plenty of room to move around our site. We could see our neighbors, but they werent super close.The bathrooms were clean pit toilets, and there was a water spigot which was nice. Plenty of trails and the river is not far from the campground, maybe a 5 minute walk if that. Do take care to place your food in the protective bear boxes! We saw a black bear while driving in and he looked fat, so watch out and bring your bear spray if youre hiking.The reason why I gave 4/5 stars was because of consistent generator noise from the camp host on and off throughout the day, and because our site had no shade from any trees and it was 85 and burning hot. Most of the sites do have constant shade, we just happened to be on the side where the sun hit directly, which was unfortunate.All together though, we loved this campground and would definitely come back again!

Camped here at end of May/beginning of June and it was absolutely perfect! Waaay back in the mountains, great hiking and rivers around. Campground was very well maintained. Campers seemed to be respectful of quiet hours so it was a very relaxing campground. 10/10 would camp here again

Snoqualmie Middle Fork Campground is a perfect close-in getaway place. Lots of nearby and varied hiking opportunities, rivers to play in on warm days, and wildlife wandering through camp, it feels more remote than it is. The campground itsself was quieter than I expected, despite being there on a busy weekend.

Excellent campground overall - very clean and well-kept, with beautiful sites. The campground host/workers were pleasant and helpful. There are some trails leaving from the campground that were really beautiful forest walks as well. I'm just deducting 2 stars from this review because the water was turned off for our stay.

Even though I had booked my 4 night reservation 1 week before and ended up with the last campsite available across from the toilets, at the end of the loop, it was perfect fast access out of there to go fishing early in the morning without disturbing people too much. When the party people went home, Sunday and Monday were quiet and magical - a Mama and baby deer even came right into my camp! So many birds too! Easy access to hikes, fishing, and tranquil chill spots.

Beautiful location, well kept. Restrooms clean and stocked with toilet paper. The trails close to the river were easy to access and were delightful. My only concern were that some campers were not respecting the fire ban.

We really enjoyed this peaceful and beautifully forested campground! The site was spacious and private and the amenities (tent pad, picnic table, fire pit, bear box) were above average. The bathroom was also exceptionally clean for a pit toilet! Love the close access to trails.

We were camping with my two grandsons (6 and 9) and they able to go tubing down the river because the river was so low. We camped mid-- week sp the campground was mot full. We had a great time and plan to come back.

We stayed Middle Fork Campground twice in this Summer and we really liked it. The area has nice trails to explore and river to jump in.

Easy drive from Seattle. Beautiful and well-kept campground. Most of the sites are spacious and offer a good amount of privacy. Great hiking trails.

We love this campground. The host was very nice and even told a group that was loud well into the night to quiet down. She even jump started our car! The bathrooms were clean and the camps were tidy. The river was great to swim in and the trails were great for our bikes!

Beautiful campground. Some folks were playing music loudly on Saturday night, but it was manageable.

Campsites well spaced so they feel very private. Very quiet on our midweek visit. Several nice trails close by. New bear proof food safes at every site. Wild huckleberries were in profusion end of July.

What a pretty, quiet campground this is! I stayed two nights. In general, the sites on the outside of the road are larger and more private than the ones on the inside like mine, but I was perfectly happy in my little campsite. This is bear country with a recent history of particularly active bear presence in and around the campground, so I appreciated the bear lockers in each site. The vault toilets were in good shape and my tent pad was raked and level when I arrived. There werent a lot of mosquitoes. The proliferation of trees and brush provided ample shade. Fellow campers were quiet and respectful. Access to the C.C.C. Trail and Middle Fork Trail right out of the campground was lovely. I hiked a couple of miles on the Middle Fork Trail, over the beautiful wood bridge to the opposite side of Middle Fork Creek; it offered gorgeous views and would be easy enough for young kids to enjoy. I will return next year!

Beautiful location, site was clean, quieter than other campgrounds.The water spigot didnt work for me. Some evidence it had earlier but all I got were gurgles.
@DeborahA424254 · Camped on Jul 17, 2023 at Campsite #14
We really enjoyed staying at Middle Fork, a first time for us. Nice, quiet campground. Vault toilets were well-maintained and didn't smell awful like most campgrounds I've stayed at. Only issue is that the single potable water spigot in the campground stopped working halfway through our visit. We came prepared and didn't run out of water, but there were others who didn't bring water and were out of luck. So, make sure to bring extra water with you just in case it happens when you stay there. Otherwise, we had a great visit and plan on staying at Middle Fork again.

Cleaned and stocked bathrooms, berries fresh for the picking, private sites, on site water, very few bugs, really great camping experience!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
