Showed up to camp here and couldnt find the campground. I then asked a park ranger for directions and was informed that the campground hadnt existed for over 2 years. Do not book reservations for Bayview.

This was our first trip to Bayview. A beautiful campground, great trails, clean. Our visit was less than wonderful because we had the campsite beside the Camphost who ran their very loud generator for hours on end. We decided to end our stay a day early because of this. We'll go back to Bayview but will know to select a site far away from the Camphost.

A quiet and beautiful spot! It had a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. Some spots are more private than others. Ours was pretty quiet. We will be back again!

Site had privacy, flat drive for car camping and campground was quiet to enjoy the evening. Nice close path down to the lake. Very clean.

Bayview is a lovely campground! Lots of privacy between sites, absolutely spotless toilets and a great little trail to walk. We loved our experience there!

The pit bathroom was always clean! The camping site is really quiet and the specific camping that I was in was close to the lake.

Campground and restrooms were kept very clean. the campsite was laid out very well with easy access to the lake as well as a walking path around the campground. We will definitely be back!

Quiet, clean, beautiful scenery.Level pad to park our travel trailer, no need for leveling equipment.Outhouses were the cleanest weve seen in years. Camp host was attentive when we needed her.

we had a great time camping! We were in another spot and was able to move to another camping location due to it being open. The new host was really nice and helpful! The sites were super clean, swept and racked, and the paths and areas around the bathrooms were also really clean. We had a really nice time and cant wait for the next camping trip!

Camp ground is very nice, theres no water which makes it a bit not perfect, its a gravel road to get to the campground. Overall the surrounding lake and the trees and the stars were very beautiful. There were people in the nearby campground smoking weed and it smelt for a long time.

This is a beautiful campground with large campsites. The only reason I didn't rate it 5* is that there are literally no amenities. No potable water, no power, no cell service, and no dump station. Only pit toilets.

Bring bug spray! This is an excellent campground: quiet, spacious, and clean, in a beautiful location. It was a good place to go with kids; "hiking" the short loop and playing by the lake made for a pretty full couple of days. I'd love to go back and kayak. The mosquitos were among the worst I've camped with, especially on a night with no campfire to keep them away (there was a burn ban), so be as prepared as you can to deal with those. And as the website notes, there's no running water, so remember to bring plenty.

Great site with flat driveway for car camping. Quiet and pretty private. Sunrise on one side of the picnic table, sunset through the trees on the other.

Good place.But second year there is no water.

Great campground! We were at campsite 14 which ended up being much more secluded than the other campsites surrounding it (the area for the tent wasnt as visible from the road). The lake was beautiful and if you go a little further out on the water you get a beautiful view of Mt. Baker. The bathrooms were very well kept. Highly recommend. We found, however, that using Google Maps took us to Horseshoe Cove instead so you need to turn left when you see the sign for Bayview Campground instead of continuing to go where google tells you to.

We enjoyed staying at Baker Lake. Beautiful spot, clean and the campsite host was friendly.

The campground was nice and clean. By far the biggest drawback was the lack of running water. All else was good.
@VanessaS490870 · Camped on Jul 26, 2023 at Campsite #2
Nice campsites with good spacing in between. Easy access to the lake. Friendly camp host. Running water would have earned 5 stars.

Would stay again.

Clean sites and bathrooms. Site was gorgeous and had a great view of the Baja Blast lake. Felt private even though the camp was full. Friendly camp host. Close enough to town in case you need supplies, but far enough out that it feels remote. No cell service.

Quiet campground with spacious, private sites and a sweet swimming beach with a great view of Mt. Shuksan.

I had never been to Bayview before so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was wonderful! The camp host was great, the sites were roomy and it was very peaceful and quiet. I look forward to camping here again next year. I was in site #24, however I walked the loop and any site would be great.
@AaronW5705274 · Camped on Sep 3, 2022 at Campsite #6
Excellent campground with a very clean toilet! The campground host is definitely on it! We also appreciated seeing Forest Service Law enforcement drive through the campground on Saturday night just checking to make sure all was in order. Lastly, the short loop trail around the campground was a nice surprise and handy for a quick walk before drove away on our last morning. The only recommendation I have is that they punch a short spur off the loop trail over to the lake so you can catch glimpse of the lake view.

Awesome camp host, site was clean and tent pad was a plus. Site was big and had pretty good privacy- site number 22. We’ll be back, next year we will bring our paddle boards

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
