Roadway through campground needs some work.

Very quiet and beautiful camp ground.

Nice campsite - large area for the tent, easy parking, standard sturdy picnic table, plus a firepit. Nice views of the river and the bridge. Not much shade or tree cover on our particular site (005), would bring a gazebo next time. There were a fair amount of people visiting the river for day use, so be aware that there may be vehicles arriving and people walking near the sites somewhat often - but it's not like they're walking right through the site; just nearby. It didn't cause any problems. Enjoyed the site and will likely be back.

This was a great site, right next to the water, but not the campsite everyone has to go through to get to the water. That was the next one over. The red bridge was in many of my picture backgrounds from the campsite.

Pleasant campground. Well maintained. It was a little difficult to find a path down to the river -- had to go through other peoples' (with their permission) sites.

One of the best swimming spots is right under the red bridge during the Summer months. There is much beauty along the river during the day. Activities including bird watching, wading/ swimming, rock and gem hunting, and fishing are all great here. The nights have their own unique, serene experience. The stars shine clear and bright at night, and falling asleep to the sound and smell of the river is hypnotic. I Love this place and am eager to come back!

We slept at this campground after a day of hiking to Goat Lake. We has a refreshing swim in the river. Campsites are close to the road but the road isn't too busy.

Very disappointing in the communication and money department. I stayed 2 nights but was required to pay for 3 nights! My first night was first-come, first-served, but that was not eligible for the TWO-NIGHT MINIMUM the online reservations required. Quite the con game. I wrote an inquiry note but NO ONE RESPONDED TO MY PLEA. And why on earth do we need a 2-night minimum after Labor Day?

I was plesantly surprised as I booked at Red Bridge based only on pictures I saw on line. We were origionly booked at Money Creek but becauce of the Bolt Creek fire was cancelled. The site we wound up on was FF and the traveling camp host allowed us to take the money from the prepaid site #1 and aply it to site #14. In short I will be totally willing to visit this campground again.

Fantastic camp site. Best time ever!

Beautiful. Site 16 is big and private. A bit close to the road, but most national parks are. No bugs (surprisingly). No cell service, no water.

Everything was solid! Bathrooms were clean despite no on-site host (host was down the road at another site). We had a site right under the HWY but wasn't too loud at night. Beach was "accessible" from most sites along the river albeit steep and loose dirt in many of the spots. Water was cool in August and refreshing. There were some dispersed campers on the other side of the bridge who...had a live band or something...and were blasting music until 4 or 5 in the am but that's not the campsite's fault. Would recommend this place but bring lots of bug spray if you're sensitive. Lots of beetles things and mosquitos

Very nice small campground not rv friendly. The website advertised #12 as 40ft max our 30ft trailer was more than the site would accomidate. Small trailers, campers and tents this a nice little campground

Always nice to stay at RED BRIDGE. The generators can be a bit much. Plenty to explore around the area.

Second trip here: while we struck out fishing, we had a great time. The campsite was easily accessible, and the other campers were friendly but not intrusive.

Good clean site. River was a dream. Lots of cool hikes nearby. Love that there's no cell coverage. Feels good when the phone becomes a mere camera.

Nice campground. The facilities were clean and stocked. Garbage cans have been removed and replaced by a dumpster, which is OK. This campground is crowded all season long, make sure you get reservations early for a weekend stay.
@JustinH132 · Camped on Sep 7, 2021 at Campsite #2
The location was fantastic, a nice river to play in, nice spots, fantastic stars at night! Easy take off point for Ice Caves & Monte Cristo hikes. There is no water but clean vault bathrooms & trash services are available. Picnic Tables, Fire Pits, flat level tent spots, Perfect small TT/RV parking (but don't bring your big rigs in here). My only grudge is I wish this campground was First Come First Serve like back in the old days! I can't stand Reservation Camping...

Nice clean sites. Quiet. Very green despite the drought.
@KathleenB925 · Camped on Aug 29, 2021 at Campsite #10
Nice campground in general. The campground is overrun with mice at nighttime. We put all foods, dishes, etc. away at night, and washed our table well in the morning.

We arrived on a Sunday and I think there might have been only 1 more spot taken. It was such an amazing first camping trip with 2 small kids. Camper ground and bathrooms are extremely clean. The river bank was fun to explore all day long. The second night we had 4 adults camping next to us, they arrived late and woke up the next morning at 5:30 am to pack up. They were extremely loud and inconsiderate of those around them, but other than that, this was a great trip. I’m looking to camp here every summer with our family now.
@AngelaP624 · Camped on Aug 20, 2021 at Campsite #8
Nice little area wish there was more hiking closer. Most of the sites aren't actually on the main river. Also most of the sites are not private at all. Toilets are okay Just happy there were some.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
