Campsite isn't being properly maintained. When we arrived the garbage cans were overflowing, the toilet shed wasn't clean and the toilet paper dispensers were empty. We stayed for 4 days and the maintenance crew never came by. Thankfully we brought our own TP.

We always have a good time here. We did have an issue with people camping in a spot that was attached to our group camp. We left them be because our group was small and they were nice. The group camps should be marked more clearly though. There are only 2, but we did have a group the next day say we were in the wrong camp which we weren't so that was annoying along with the group that said they were allowed to camp in part of our site. Next year I'm just going to grab a camp host to take care of misunderstanding. Other than that, we love this group camp. It's roomy, nice and right on the river.

The site has beautiful views. And plenty of room. The shelter is great.

It's a beautiful site – – there's no question about that. The campground just seems to be poorly managed. Gate was not unlocked when we arrived. Shelter and picnic area had not been cleaned. Reservation card had not been updated with our name and dates. Group sites are not labeled at all. There are beautiful boards they could be utilizing. People tried to camp out in our site all weekend – – as there was nothing posted to keep them out or an explanation about sites being dedicated to private group bookinsg. Also, we not see the camp host or a ranger all weekend.

20 yrs ago, I performed a ceremony to wed my two best friends to each other at Wiley Creek. This year, we celebrated their 20 yr anniversary in the exact same spot, with a small handful of the same people all those years ago. They recreated their original wedding photos, taken in the middle of the river, fishing poles in hand. Was a wonderful memory the first time, and we’re so grateful to have been fortunate to get a reservation again. We’ve camped at Wiley Creek many times over the years in between and still believe it to be one of the best available in Western Washington.

Truly a diamond in the rough! So much space to enjoy nature and walk short trails. Site A is going to be our go-to place every year! While the website says it can sleep 20, I really think you could get at least 40! There are over 20 places to put tents, including 3 that would work for small trailers/RVs.

Reserved spot B the end of August 2019, it ended up being only my husband and I but we had a great time! There was another party in spot A but we did not hear nor see them so it was not an issue. It did get chilly at night, bring firewood, the wood in the area is damp for the most part. There is a vault toilet a little bit of a walk from the main shelter area. There are several different spots to camp for large groups, the 2 level shelter is really cool. The river is just down a small hill, would definitely make for a good swim spot on a warm day, if there's enough water in it. We hiked to the top of Mt Pilchuck which was an amazing experience! There are so many great trails in this area, get out there and check them out! And there are mice that roam the area, we had one that got into our food bag at night and kept trying to come back for more...it might have come home with us, I'm still not sure...

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
