Very nice large group camp. Camp sites are spread out decently well for some level of privacy in the group. The central spot has plenty of room for everyone to gather and hang out. Bathrooms were clean and freshly stocked. But beware, even with the gates closed, people will open the gate and drive in. Or simply park at the gate and walk around and intrude. We had to run multiple people out.

This site is a little wonky for a group, it's a driveway with several spots on the river side, with the road on the other. There is a central area where multiple tents could be, but the other sites are a bit away from that area. For RV's, you can leave them parked in the driveway, and open both gates (one at each end) as there is not really a turnaround. But a large RV would fit if you just leave it in the road and don't plan the other cars to drive through. There IS a place to get right to the river, unlike some reviews, at about the 3rd campsite there is a little trail down that's pretty easy to navigate. The other sites don't really have river access though. It was really nice to have the whole place to ourselves. The bathroom was stocked with TP. We would reserve it again.

Nice, peaceful site. It's not really conducive to a tight knit group camping experience though. Think of it as a collection of individual campsites. The site is long and narrow, so each campsite is pretty much by itself. Also, for families with small kids, the site is a bit dangerous as each campsite has a steep drop-off to the water below. Overall, had a great time though.

Excellent spot! Spots are somewhat spread apart and separate but that worked fine for us! If you’re with small kiddos, you may want to bring a raft. The opposite bank is shallow, no current, and huge beach. The camp side of the river is high bank and steep to get to river with little or no beach. Luckily we had our raft with! Plenty of hiking close by like Lake 22 and Mt Pilchuck. We highly recommend this spot and had a wonderful time!

It is on a beautiful river. Not very many tent pads or good tent sites though. The sites were also really spread out. We were expecting more of a group experience.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
