The sites are clean an mostly level. However, for the price there should have been at least a source of potable water and a dump station.
@TyraL066845AD7 · Camped on Aug 5, 2024 at Campsite #1
There was no water at any place in the campground during our visit and no where in my confirmation emails or on the website said that

Nice campground. Quiet and scenic. We could have gone without hearing generators and the lack of any fresh water supply means we won't be back, however.

We stayed at Devil's Elbow having never visited previously. It was fantastic. The host was very friendly and accommodating as we were in town for sport tournament and had irregular check in/out times. The water was great and so happy with the views. Just the break we needed, but close enough to get to our other events. The walking paths were a bonus. The site was level, clear of major rocks and the restroom very clean and no oder despite the heat. Definitely will come back.

Unfortunately our experience is not too good. Campsites are spacious: that is a plus. But be aware that it s incredibly noisy. With speedboats that pass by with loud music. Despite sign at the entrance about quiet hours the host doesnt seem to care. Our very loud neighbors were his family so music, aggressive behavior and cars driving after 10 pm were apparently all fine. So I guess for us it was bad luck on a Saturday evening. I can imagine a weekday is a lot more fun then a drunk-weekendday. I would not recommend it unless you have a boat you want to race!

While we stayed at Devils Elbow we used our boat and parked our trailer up on top parking area. When we returned and loadedour boat to go back to our site we had a notice regarding not to park our trailer in that area unless you pay. I looked for signs saying it was for day use only and Ibeleive there was only one little sign that was at the parking lot. Other trucks were parked and I did not see the only sign. Need to add more signs and larger ones.One of the rules for having dogs is to have your dog on a leash and the host must have privilage rights not to have their dogs on a leash. The birds in that area are very beautiful and fun to watch. The campgrounds is always a fun place to be.Keep up the good work!

Overall, we had a very good time. However, the internet service wasn't very good and there wasn't any potable water available when we were there. An apparent well failure since we observed a well drilling rig in the immediate vicinity.

We camped at Belle Foursche CG in a37 ft 5 th wheel. Camping in the off season is the best. No crowds, generally warm days, and fall weather. Nice! The only bad thing is the gift shop is low on inventory.

Solid campsite with adequate amenities for tent campers. A quiet respite from the city. Well kept walkways and great views of the Colorado River.

Very Clean, Right On The River We Only Stayed Over Night But If Traveling Through There Again Will Stay There Again. Only Draw Back Was The Online Map Very Poor As Far As Trying To Locate To Spots Next To Each Other. When Looking On Line Every Spot I Looked At Said For Handicapped. So I finally Booked Two Spots When I Got There There Were No Handicapped Signs Saying That Theses Spots Were For Handicapped Only,

Camp host rude condisending no water, dangerous NO lighting. NO lights in parking area nor restrooms and very dark and dangerous at the boat slips. Do NOT even think about fishing after dark very dangerous

Campground hosts were some of the nicest and most reasonable hosts we have camped with. Love the ability to keep our boat docked for the weekend.

The spots are separated enough uncertain areas. It makes it comfortable! Great views!

While we can't always count on whom we're camped next to the experience this time was lovely. The two sets of hosts are so pleasant. Please compensate them so they continue to be the hosts, please. I knew of the water issue before I came so I was prepared. Except for weekends the camp is very peaceful and quiet.
@JohnR2194126 · Camped on Aug 21, 2023 at Campsite #23
Was a great time, the weather was not too hot or cold. We enjoyed hiking the trails. Will be glad when the water problem is fixed, though.
@RichardJ844521 · Camped on Aug 14, 2023 at Campsite #35
False advertisement. There was not water to use. The fish cleaning station was locked up. The ONLY green grass was the section that the camp hosts stay. The only sprinklers were the parcel near the camp hosts. The only mowed area was near the camp hosts. One of the camp host (male- camper closer to the lake) had a very loud foul mouth. There is no reason to talk that way, it is very rude. We had 5 campsites, 4 for 7 nights. Unfortunately, the campground is not maintained.

August is a kind of hot month with little to no shade in campground. Good swimming hole for my two labs to cool off.Really best suited for campers with boats, nice slips to store boat on the river while camping. Nice clean pit toilets

Would definitely stay here again. The bathrooms were clean and the hosts were great!

Our first time there. Enjoyed it a lot. Camp Host was great, camp ground was perfect for our needs. We will be back.
@LornaDAAC619B1 · Camped on Jul 31, 2023 at Campsite #43
This campground is great, especially since overnight campers can leave their boat at the docks for the night. The bathrooms and campsites are clean and tidy. The only downside for us was that only two tents are allowed per site. We had to reserve two full sites in order to have a third tent to accommodate our family. Late night arrivals came and ended up staying on the unused second site we had paid for.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
