The site was out of level side to side quite a bit. But someone had throwed their trash in the woods by site. Stopped a corp. maintenance to see about getting a camp ranger to look at for identification. He said they would take care of and had it cleaned up that day! Awesome job!

Very nice site. Full Hookups. Would have nice shade in Summer. Set up is fairly private.

Clean bathrooms. Shower house has been remodeled but now there is only one bathroom for the entire Little Bluestem Loop. A fair distance from the further out sites. We were disappointed that our favorite loop was already closed for the season in mid Oct.

You need to update the camp site maps. When we booked our sites, the map showed a bathhouse close to site 104 with in a very short walk. A new parking area was in its place. Had we not had a 93 year old grandma with us, who loves to camp, it would have been no big deal. So we had to drive her to the next one which was 290 feet away. So I hope new maps will be up for the 2025 camping season.

We loved it here. Our first time to Mark Twain lake. Private, quiet, peaceful. Couldnt ask for more Hosts were excellent. Very helpful and pleasant.

Peaceful, well-kept campground. Sites varied from nearly full sun to nearly full shade, with views of the lake through the trees or not, so something for everyone. Spotless restrooms/showers.

We stayed in site 115, a. The "Need to Know" section of the booking information said it had a steep slope of 6.34" over the 83' length of the site. That is a HUGE understatement. More like at least 20+". We have a 42' 5th wheel. The front jacks were down to the ground and the back jacks were on 14" of blocks/jack extension. We had multiple blocks under the tires, which we have never experienced in all our COE stays. The front section of the site where the truck sat was even steeper. Over the total 83' the site probably had a 24" slope. If you have shorter equipment it would be less drastic. Once we were level there wasn't anything wrong with the site, but it was totally misrepresented. There are many heavily sloped sites in this campground. There are some that are fairly level but either they were not long enough or unavailable.

The campground is well kept with good site spacing,good electric and good water pressure. At&t was poor only one bar and of course no ota tv channels. The most disconcerting condition was the information discrepancy regarding the grade or slant to the site. Grade is posted at just over two inches front to back. When it is actually over twelve inches with the sewer connection uphill from the rear RV connection. So smaller rigs would be ok but anything over 25 feet expect lots of leveling.

The campground, including bathrooms and showers, is clean and well maintained. The grass is mowed to help keep ticks and other insects away. The sites are level side to side, though front to back on some was fairly sloped. Ours was only a couple of inches in 35.

The park is very nice although it was in need of mowing. Our site #65 is very sloped front to back. FHU was good

Ray Behrens fish cleaning station was closed for 2 days so we had to put in at Spaulding. Their cleaning station is wonderful. Campsite was good. Bathrooms were great. Someone even left soap in the bathroom I used.

Great asphalt drive with FHU and very clean. Bathhouse had private showers which is pretty rare. Nice quiet park. Also, Mark Twain state park is a great place to visit. We also visited Frank Russell park which had a nice walking trail and the sites were large with concrete drives.

Beautiful park but did not know that the section of campground I was at did not have the updated bathrooms. They are aweful. Hope they update them soon.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
