Beautiful park. Large sites with plenty of room between you and your neighbors. Our site (#60) was perfect and had full hookups. They did have large portions of the park already closed for the season. Just wish there were more sites with sewer hookups to choose from. We will definitely return to Indian Creek.

Only issue is the slope of the site. Would be awesome it I did not have to work on both front to back and side to side leveling.

There is a covered bridge out of Paris that we visited. We mostly went close to the end of October, to view the leaves changing color. The fall colors were beautiful.

Nice campground! Big sites with plenty of space from neighbors. Just wish there were bath houses closer to the sites with no water or sewer hookups.

We were at Indian Creek for the Halloween Walk. I paint rocks for the younger kids every year instead of candy. Our campsite was a FHU (#60). Close to the weekend, the entire campground filled to capacity...it is a fun time to be there.The Halloween Walk was awesome! The weather cooperated and with a full moon..it was perfect. I did notice some sites that did only minimal decorating (poor participation) but the other sites that went above and beyond made them look small and insignificant. There was more animated displays and the creepiness of it was just wonderful!

For the most part you are camping in the woods. A few sites can see water thru the trees. Most all sites are plenty long and level. Nice gravel area around tables and campfire ring. Nicely mowed and clean. Great place to ride bike or walk. They have paths to water and a walking trail.

Clean and quiet! Site was in fine shape and we enjoyed walking down the nearby trail to the lake, even though the actual shoreline was quite rocky and the water level low. Would stay here again.

Nice quiet campground in mid-week. Well maintained. There was a bit of a gnat infestation in the bathrooms, but that is probably due to the season and is not a reflection of the quality of the park operation and maintenance. I would like to see fewer external lights on the bathrooms to protect dark sky viewing (that might even reduce the bug population in and around the bathrooms!)

We had a good experience other than the bathrooms. The bathroom/shower house was very dirty and the drain was not working so there was nasty standing water in the shower and we were unable to use it. Also, the lack of fish cleaning stations was disappointing. For the amount of people using the lake there should be plenty more stations for cleaning fish.

Was our first time there and it was perfect. Nice and quite. Had fun fishing and floating. Like it so much we are going again in a couple weeks.

Fabulous stay! Our second stay at Indian Creek. This time with sewer and water hookups which made the stay even better. Not a very far walk to shower house/restrooms and dumpster. This site was fairly flat, long, plenty of shade. Nice firepit and picnic table. The site was clean, freshly mowed and obviously maintained. We had neighbors all directions but each site is large and spacious with a lot of trees and vegetation in between, you are not stacked on top of one another. It is peaceful and neighbors were quiet and considerate. Getting ready to book stay #3 before the season is over. Indian Creek is very enjoyable and relaxing and everyone is friendly. We highly recommend any site within this campground.

I had site 45 it was okay like many of the spots not the levelest spot, but it worked. Bathhouse worked but a little bit to be desired but i was roughing it in my camper with an AC. I was there from Sunday to Wednesday very quite. The host was very nice, but I did not know where to go I had to find the spot myself. Went to the Mark Twain house it was interesting. Walk some trails to the lake got lots of chiggers, but that goes with roughing it. The park itself was very clean. I wished the map had better pictures of the sites. Over all we had a nice experience.

Quiet, spacious campground! We also had a great experience renting a pontoon from the marina and enjoying a day on the lake. We camp here at least twice a year. They have great new shower houses that are great!
@SteveN82C23E0C · Camped on Aug 9, 2024 at Campsite #121
Site was not level and in description no mention of slant. All utilities worked fine and easy hook-ups. Along way to get to camp ground but worth it, clean & quite.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
