I always like camping here the bathrooms and shower house are always clean and everyone I've met so far is friendly! The stalls and horse trails are well kept.

We were close to a trail that takes you to the water. We could see the water from this campsite. I love the new concrete pads, and the full hook up was a good bonus.

The sites were very nice and brand new! The park has beautiful trails and a pond in addition to access to Mark Twain Lake (small trails, no docks, with sharp rocks). The Archery Range is amazing.

I dont think campers should be allowed when we horse riders only have 7 spots and camping trailers have huge sites to go to ..Love Frank Russell and glad they barred the drunk with Rottweilers and all his cussing and threatening people!

We love Frank Russell but we wished there was a play ground. Camp Ground was clean.

Beautiful spot. Excellent campground improvements. Even though some pad entries are sloped,the pad is relatively level.

We were happy with the campsite we selected. Electric hook-ups, Water & Sewer. Wish there were more trees, for privacy and campsite division. There was nobody on duty to check us in, even though we arrived during kiosk, Staffed, hours. My husband walked back, later, to try and check in, as I am disabled and unable to walk back; STILL nobody available for check-in, (Still during, Staffed, hours. There was a sign on the side of the Kiosk that said if nobody was there, someone would be around to check campers in nobody ever came around! In the morning, when we left, and had no, Yellow Tag, to place in the box. Anyone could have just driven into this campground and taken a campsite! Theres nobody staffing this campground, doing check-ins/outs, overseeing general safety or cleaning up; it could have used a mowing, as well.

Beautiful Park. I was told it was just renovated and reopened. We stayed for 11 days as a last minute due to a problem with another area we were in. Hookups in the rear of the pad, which was nice. 50amp would great with 3 acs going most of the time. Concrete, level pad with firepit, picnic table and pole (I assume for trash). Bugs were wild this week and chiggers got me. My fault. Camp hosts were wonderful people, checked us in after we got to our campsite. Tmobile worked fine.

Well maintained camp. Hosts were very helpful when we had Jeep problems recommending a mechanic. Full hook up and concrete pads.
@SusanD7512883 · Camped on Jul 13, 2024 at Campsite #57
This renovated campground has beautiful concrete pads with plenty of room to park, and full hookups. Each tree-lined site has a fire pit and a certain amount of shade. Also, the sites are mostly level and easy to access. At the front end It does include 6-7 sites for campers with horses, and it has an archery range close by, so those are nice features. All in all, a wonderful park and we'll be back!!

This newly renovated campground still needs a lot of work. They have a lot to offer. I was surprised by the archery range, we wouldve taken our bows. They even have a 3-D set up.They have a pond, I caught the largest bluegill I have ever caught/released, at 1.41 lbs. Several were catching catfish. Its very pretty. You can sit on a bench and just enjoy the scenery, or picnic. There is hiking trails and an equestrian campground.The campground itself needs the work. The roads are understandable because they just put in full hook ups Theyll get the roads paved eventually, not a dealbreaker! What was aggravating is, they have one shower house/parking at the beginning of the campground. Nothing at the other end. This is not a problem unless you have others joining you. You are not allowed to park on the grass they are extremely strict about this. But if they are going to allow two structures, a camper and a tent or two tents, and up to eight people Are all but two of these people children? I doubt it! We had adult children arriving several days after we did. We had two vehicles, because we pulled a boat Hello theres a huge lake, and the other vehicle triple-towed the camper/fishing kayak. When my adult children arrived, they had nowhere to park. We tried several ways and the Corp was not happy with it. The kids were in a tent and if they want to take a shower, they would jump in a vehicle and go up to the shower house, no big deal. But for parking and to use a bathroom, there wasnt anything within walking distance. Some campers do not have bathrooms in them. So be prepared, if you dont have a bathroom, make sure you bring a bucket. especially for night time. There is plenty of room in the lower end of the campground, for these things to be built, so I hope they do!The fire pit is level with the concrete pad, and poses a hazard, so beware.
@MichelleM70561 · Camped on Jun 14, 2024 at Campsite #57
The caretakers were present and available when we ran into an issue with the breaker. The lots are level and required no leveling for our camper. Loved the built in fire pit! Will definitely be staying here again!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
