lot of campsites exceeding the 2 tent max and a lot of noise. beautiful place but will probably look elsewhere for camping

What a magical place! Wonderful campground, and the campground hosts went above and beyond to help us find a campsite each night. Better plan on booking a site well in advance during peak season!

Easy access to the river, very clean and easy to rent canoes and kayaks on site.

Great campground, very well kept restroom facilities, one park ranger down there seemed awfully devoted to harassing people and trying to write people tickets though. Otherwise would've marked it as excellent.

Beautiful campground right on the banks of the Current River. Clean shower/bath house. On site store stocked with lots of necessities and fun water toys. You can also book float trips at the store. The camp host this year (2024) is OUTSTANDING! As a solo female camper, he made me feel very safe with how much he checks in with everyone and helps out with area information. Highly recommend this campground.

This was the fifth year we have floated the Current River and the third time we have stayed at Pulltite Campground. Camp host and Rangers are always helpful and courteous. Campground is one of our favorites in the state!

We were able to pull right off the river into our campsite. Sites are clean and well maintained. The raccoons, however, will rob you blind. They know how to use zippers, unlatch coolers, and open locking Tupperware containers. Seriously, you HAVE to padlock your stuff or it will not be there in the morning.

The campground is our favorite on the Current River.

As always, had a great time! The middle of the week is the best with lots of quiet and not crowded at all!

We have camped here many times over the years and its a great campground. It has hot showers and running water restrooms. Its always clean and the grass is cut. The park hosts are friendly and very helpful. Floating the Current River is beautiful above and below Pulltite access.

Campsites are large and are separated from one another by a significant distance. Showers are great.
@JIMB8977280 · Camped on May 2, 2024 at Campsite #55
The campsite hosts were very helpful. Upon arrival, told us that reserved sites had been under water 2 days prior, were still muddy. Directed us to sites that were preferrable for our stay.

Best campground on the current. Quiet during the week and weekends. Facilities were way more than we expected. Wifi for emergency calling/texting at the store. Showers and bathrooms at main entrance were much better than anticipated. Amphitheater bathrooms were great too! Park Manager was accommodating and helpful - very knowledgeable of the area and helped us with some trout fishing tips. Overall, we can not wait to come back. Pulltite is our campground of choice on the Upper Current!

Sites were clean and had a nice sand path cleared down to the river. We went during the week, not crowded at all. Having the boat rental and store on site was a definite plus. Plan to return .

The owner called me the day of our arrival telling us one of the 5 sites we rented ended up flooding and wanted to know if we wanted a group site that was open because of a cancelation. We agreed. The owner did not charge us extra for the group site either.I do feel like if we weren't on the group site, we might not of enjoyed it as much. Some of the campsites were pretty close together. But we had a great time and will be back next year. Hopefully on the same group site, lol.

Love Pulltite!
@PaulQACDFAFF2B · Camped on Jun 23, 2023 at Campsite #22
Sites were big and well separated, the rangers were amazing , facilities were decent….. the raccoons tho, my god they could break into a bank. You have to lock or tie up your coolers they will even open the coolers with the rubber straps.

Other than he raccoons it was a great camp!
@StevenK2938052 · Camped on Jun 9, 2023 at Campsite #G2
My group comes to Pulltite every year for our float trip. The water is always clear and fresh. The scenery is beautiful. We get a group campsite and there is more than enough room for 20 of us. Can't wait to come back next year!
@RobertT9956944 · Camped on Jun 6, 2023 at Campsite #33
Raccoons were a terrible nuisance at this park, they need to be thinned out. They would almost try to take things out of your hands.
@TommyCA4A440F5 · Camped on Jun 5, 2023 at Campsite #37
The camp host was amazing! He was so pleasant and was so helpful to make our trip wonderful. He is even a volunteer. The site and campground were perfect.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
