Twiltley Branch Campground in Lauderdale county is located 1 hr 44 min east of Jackson, MS with an elevation of 347 feet. There are a total of 64 campsites. The campground is open all year. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 30 and 130 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 51 sites have electric and water hookups. 13 sites have water hookups. Fees range from $14.00 to $60.00. Some amenities include shower, swimming. Activities include biking, fishing, hiking trails.

Very nice woodsy campground. Our visit was short, but would definitely go back. Some sites are difficult to back larger RVs due to tree locations at sites. The bath house is a bit outdated and needed to be cleaned. Overall we enjoyed Twiltley Branch COE Campground.

The site was nice sized, level and right on the water. I'm sure it is beautiful during the summer. We were there in late fall. We enjoyed riding our bikes around the grounds.

Good camp setting. Friendly gate house attendant. Site ten was a bit tight to get into with a couple pine trees too close (couldnt open the awning and wasnt going to hookup to move. Pit and grill werent cleaned but I didnt use anyway. Overall was fine. Will return if passing thru.

Camping spots were very dirty. I am assuming the park doesnt have the manpower or funding to keep the park clean

We love camping at Twitley Branch, we camp there many times a year, but the grounds are in terrible shape. Grass needs to be mowed.

Camp site were great location. Water level was way too low. Boat could not get to the bank anywhere at bank. Keep hitting bottom of the boat because water level was so shallow.

This is a beautiful campground, and will go back. There was a little trash ( beer and soda cans ) that needed to be picked up we saw while riding around. They also had trash in our fire pit and ashes in our grill when we arrived.Also need to open the laundry back up to campers.

I would rather say nothing than say negative about a park. But this site was truly beyond just some litter. a 35 gal garbage bag and an hour of my life, made it presentable. People appeared to have just thrown garbage in the vicinity of the dumpster. After driving past it for 3 days, another hour of my life made it look good. The tini restroom, was never touched in the week I was there. People would open the door, look inside, and walk away. ( even the host ) terrible.

Beautiful views, nice spacious sites. Great place to stay as long as you DONT plan on using shower house or the pit toilets (only option by campsites)

This place needs an update all the way around, laundry was out of service the whole 2 weeks we were there , the grounds need mowing and weed eatingthat was ridiculous. Then the bathouse was disgusting!!! Besides all the above I enjoyed the peace and quiet!!

Ive camped here on Memorial Day weekend for years and always enjoyed how well the grounds was kept, however this past Memorial Day weekend was different. The grass looked as though it had not been cut all season. Fallen trees and trees had not been taken care of. Very disappointing based on the past years. Not sure why it was in that shape.

We have stayed at this campground at least two times a year for over 20 years and it has always been maintained very good. We were there Memorial Day 2024 and it was awful. The grass had not been mowed since last year. Limbs were everywhere. Some campers had a weedeater to clear their site. I have reservations for Labor day and I will cancel. The roadways will need to be bushhogged at this point.

The RV sites are large, plenty of room, right on the lake, beautiful tall trees. The only thing wrong is that there are no trails to wall or hike.

Dirty!! I spent two hours cleaning trash, crawfish tails, maggots, beer cans etc out of fire pit to make somewhat clean. Bathroom was filthy.
