The park was nice. Our site backed up to the lake. Plenty of space between sites. There is not much in the area to do. So unless you are into fishing there is not much else around. Smaller narrow roads outside of campground.

We enjoyed our time at the campground. The ones looking after and taking care of the campground were very nice and wonderful to deal with.

Public mens toilet had no paper and one of the toilets was stopped up all week and washer dryer were out of order all week. I was very pleased with everything else all week.

Our second time to camp here. Both occasions were the same site and we love that it is right on the waterfront but there are many waterfront sites to choose from. We find Twiltely Branch is located at a halfway point for many of our travels and it's location makes it an easy overnight spot till we continue our trip. Lake looks good and I bet the fishing is great.

We were harshly scolded by the host for not stopping to check in when we arrived. Told we had to move from the site we had reserved because there was no water at the site even though we said we didnt need water. We felt we were retaliated against for not checking in and were made to move to a site that wasnt what we would have reserved. We canceled our return reservation. Showering in the shower house was a freezing experience.

Beautiful place. Enjoyed watching helicopters from Naval Air Station.

The campground is very quiet and secluded. However, the roadways and camp sites are covered with excessive debris from the winter and it appears no attempt has been made to remove or control the mess.

Beautiful park

Campground was nice, weather wasn't. Between the heavy rain, cold and wind that followed, that knocked down trees and power it was poor week to be there.

Signs leading into the campground were so faded that they were very difficult to read. Leaves were not cleaned off of any of the sites. We didn't use the dump site because it has a steep incline and sharp turn leading to it.

Close to town for supplies & laundry. CG has laundry, but "Closed". Would be nice if it was reopened, since machines are still in there. Heated bathhouse, but lukewarm water. NO sink for doing dishes. Cell service was good & several TV channels. Would defiantly stay here again if in area.

Older but sites are large enough.I liked that there was a hiking trail around the campground lake with some additional trails not on the trailhead diagram. It looks like the trail is extended to at least start going around the lower lake also. Lake Bistineau State Park is not too far away for some more hiking if that is your thing. Glad I stayed here instead of there though, just made a day trip to the park.Saw a few people shore fishing along the dam and one kid says he will shore fish from spots around the whole lake.

Flat pads, good showers, pretty area, close to town.

Trees need to be trimmed back off sites and drives- the site we booked online said it could accommodate a 40 camper, but there was 6 trees growing on the site and in the drive of the site. A lot of the sites have trees in the drive and on the site. The roads are in desperate need of a leaf blower, so were the sites. It was impossible to tell where the road ended or the sites where even at without getting out and kicking leaves.Gate house attendants were nice. We were there 3 nights and no one cleaned the bathrooms.

Campsite was in good condition. Bathroom with shower is some distance from any of the campsites, but was in good condition. Hosts were friendly and helpful.

Nice camp on Okatibbee Lake. Very quiet and private during our visit in November. Sites are spacious and nicely spaced to give privacy.

Arrived near dusk and host was very nice and accommodating. Excellent sites, long, level. Lake was low but that was to be expected at this time of year.

Lovely campsites, level and big! Restrooms and showers need dedicated cleaning and more showers! Staff there was very friendly and helpful.

We camp here because it is quiet and most sites are shady and large.Close enough to groceries and supplies. Only downside is that many campers seem to think fire pits are trash cans.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
