It was a beautiful campground some nice sites on the river only has one bathhouse and shower and playgrounds at river side.I wouldve given five stars but the pull through area with 30 amp needs to have its own bathhouse and play area. The new camp post that arrived after I got there did a wonderful job on the trail if you go take a nature walk ion the trail the interest is directly across from the check-in

The perfect place for peace and quiet, at least end of Feb. The campsites are stunning with lake views and large private spaces. There really isn't much of anything around but if it's quiet you are after this is your place!

All the hosts here are very nice and helpful!! The park is layed out with large sites and have both water view sites or very woody sites. Bathhouse was extremely clean/ warm at all times. The walking trail is a well layed out with benches throughout. Saw 2 armadillo on one trip. Shady path with lovely views of water. I hear the fishing is great also!

This trip was quite. Normally you have sounds of children playing or riding bikes. But this stay was different. It was mostly fishermen. But it was a great stay.

This park is on the smaller side, but sites are well spaced. The nature trail is short, but informative. Nice place to view birds with easy access to the waterway for kayaks or fishing boats. Forkland used to be able to claim the cleanest, best smelling bathrooms among the AL coe parks. However the one set of hosts left and the next day the bathrooms while still clean now smelled of chlorine or bleach. For the remainder of the stay anytime you entered the bathrooms you would be bowled over, eyes watering from the industrial cleaner smell. All COE campgrounds need to use whatever cleaner the forkland site used when the married couple in the dynamax class c hosted.

I really enjoyed my time here. The host were friendly but not over your shoulder. It's affordable, on a lake, there isn't alot of people, and there's a dog friendly trail to walk around and start your day. If you have a boat you'll love it here. Id go back again.

The park host made this awesome campground even better! When we got there my husband was bitten by ants that were crawling on the blacktop part of the campsite. He realized they were coming from some any hills on the edge of the blacktop. When the host came by making her rounds on her golf cart I asked her if she had any any poison because we didn't have any and we didn't want ants in our camper. She said she'd be right back with some. When she came back she sprayed the ants and sprayed all around our camper and truck and around the tires. She was so nice! She really went above and beyond. The park is so nice! Love the COE parks!!!

Very nice and well kept campground. Space between sites was ample and quiet Restrooms /bath house were clean. Only thing missing is sewer. Had a very nice stay. Would go back if in the area. We did not leave campground, but Demopolis is about 10 miles away.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
