The campground and the site were very nice. The site was paved and level and the picnic table was on a concrete slab. The vault toilets by this sight were very smelly- to the point of making me nauseous. Also there was no potable water in the campground which was inconvenient. It would be nice to know before arriving so we were prepared with waters

Poor/no Highway sign for southbound guests. You can safely turn the trailer around 5 miles pass in Blanding. Great sign when driving north.

Super friendly host, we changed our reserved site to an empty one on the upper loop. week before momorial day, de campground was half full. we come back again.

A nice variety of campsites in the open or in trees. The ones at the upper end have more noise from the highway. Campsites and vault toilets are very clean, and the campground host is great! Convenient to Bears Ears National Monument and a super museum at Edge of the Cedars State Park in Blanding. The last night we were there (May 25), the no-see-ums and mosquitos were coming out so bring bug spray. Also, do not leave food or nesting materials handy for mice in your car--our camping friends had several in their car, as has the host.

We had spot 11. Loved how quiet the place was. Great spot for checking out the local history.

Excellent base camp for day trips to surrounding areas.

This campground was a convenient "base camp" for our visits to Natural Bridges National Monument and Hovenweep. We stayed here in May, 2024. Campground Host was very friendly. Pit toilets were kept reasonably clean. No hook-ups, and no available water when we were there. Two loops in the campground: the northern loop was quite stretched out with lots of space between some of the sites. Some sites were quieter than others, where you could hear lots of road noise from highway 191. We stayed in the south loop, which had fewer sites, closer together, but not too noisy from the highway. Traffic does lessen a lot after 10pm. This campground is close to Monticello to the north, and Blanding to the south, where gas, restaurants, and groceries are available.

I stayed at 040 and had a great time. So much room to just walk around & explore. Saw some deer in the back of my site. It was very secluded which I enjoyed. Only thing was there was only one garbage (maybe I only found one) right at the front, about a mile or so from my site. Would love to stay again

Nice campground clean vault toilets. The host was very nice. He was a great source of information. Campground was close to Canyon land and Arches..Campsites are well spaced apart. Enjoyed my six day stay.

Easy to find - right off Hwy 191 between Monticello and Blanding. Close enough to the highway that you get to listen to traffic 24/7. It's mostly an RV campground, but we found 3 sites close together that had some reasonable tent spaces; i.e. no tent pads in our loop. We were tent camping and there are enough trees to give some shade and wind break. The table(s) and fire pit are situated on concrete pads so you're not always camping in the red dirt and mud. The single vault toilet was kept clean and tidy by the CG host and he was mindful of the TP supply - we were there for a week and there was always TP. The CG host was friendly and responsive to our needs. The water was running when we were there which is always a bonus. Overall, a good experience.

Nice sites and very clean restrooms. One suggestion--there was supposed to be a short trail within the campground, but I never found it or found info how to find it
@GraceP37668740 · Camped on Apr 16, 2024 at Campsite #14
Great location. Nice sites, many pull throughs, easy to find a flat spot for our small trailer. Pit toilets are kept clean and stocked with tp. The driveways were recently resurfaced with blacktop. Nice that they are keeping things maintained, but the odor wasnt great. Im sure it will dissipate. Biggest complaint is the lack of water. If the campsite had fresh water, I would have given it five stars. Even so, we would definitely stay there again.

Good place to camp, quiet, clean vault toilet. Worked great as a base camp for Natural Bridges, Bears Ears, and Hovenweep National Monuments.

Devils Canyon was awesome! The campground host was so helpful, and the bathrooms were well taken care of. So beautiful to hike around the campground, along with the best nature hike with great info that was just the perfect length for all ages!

The drive into the Needles district of Bears Ears is nice and the Dinosaur Muesuem in Blanding is out standing.

Lovely campground with plenty of space between sites. No electricity or water kept out enough campers that we could reserve a spot in great striking distance of multiple wonderful national parks.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
