The near by fishing sites and recreation was a plus. Family enjoyed the beautiful site of the mountain and the drive that they did within the area. Thank you,

Great setting for a rustic, peaceful time in the forest! Be advised to do your research as some sites are small and might not be appropriate for you. Vault toilet, water spigots between some sites but can't connect hose to so might want to fill before arriving. They have buckets by the spigot if you need to carry to site. Barely any cell phone signal up there, as with OTA TV. Loved it!

I loved this campsite. Its quiet, the available water is clean, the bathrooms are immaculate. Very few visitors and had deer strolling through the campsite in the evening, which was always fun. A great jumping off point for visiting Bears Ears and Canyonlands.

Beautiful location

Very underutilized this time of year, but well maintained and nicely laid out. The host was excellent and very personable. This is our second time staying there and, as before, it was great. It is one of our favorite places. We heard rumors that it may be closing down. If so, this would be a shame.

Clean Bathrooms, great host! Wonderful to see the deer visiting each morning & evening.

I would not recommend this campground to anyone. Its better to find a primitive campsite in the surrounding area. The campground has rules listed on-site that differ from the ones listed online. The camp host, was extremely rude and refused to speak to us. We ended our camping trip early due to the camp hosts threatening behavior towards us.

Great place to spend the whole week or just the weekend. Will definitely do it again.

Quiet campground during my stay. Most sites are pretty widely spaced apart. Cleanest pit toilet I've ever seen! Good location if you're looking for a reservable site within a reasonable drive of the Bears Ears sites along Highway 95. Note that Apple Maps has an incorrect location for Nizhoni - it's a few miles farther up the road.

Excellent group site. Camped here with a youth group and had over 30 people. Multiple picnic tables and lots of space. Plenty of trees shade most the day!

Good mix of shade andsun. Deer wandering through campground . Clean, good privacy.

Beautiful, peaceful and shady. It would have been helpful however if we had known ahead of our stay that the water was not potable.A great location for exploring Natural Bridges and Hovenweep National Parks.

It was beautiful and peaceful, exactly what I was looking forward to. There were daily deer sightings that thrilled the little people and plenty of fishing and hiking areas for the adults. A quality experience.

Nice, quiet, secluded campground with large spaces and most shaded with trees. Perfect for hanging a hammock.

Loved seclusion and beauty of this place!

This was such a nice campground! We stayed at site 9 which was wonderful, there was lots of space between our neighbors and the bathrooms were close but not too close. There were multiple places to set up a tent or two. We saw deer everywhere. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Camp hosts were very friendly. We went not expecting water on-site, but there is water. Cell service came and went, but it was enough to send the occasional text to family. Don't expect to be able to browse the internet. My only complaint was there is no trash service.

Absolutely beautiful campsites. Clean and well cared for when we were there early season 2023.

Blessed with perfect weather this year. Camp host has all of the facilities in fantastic shape. So much wildlife in the campground. The fire ban was disappointing but understandable.
@RichardG179702 · Camped on Jun 5, 2022 at Campsite #7
Site 7 is lovely! Wide open, not close to neighbors, nice view! We didn't pay attention to a small swarm of gnats the first evening and nursed gnat bites for the next ten days, though. Lesson learned about bug repellent! Very nice campground hosts, would definitely go there again.

Big camping site, very quiet. The disappointing thing was that there were nog hikes nearby.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
