We live in Maine and have camped all over the country and in the Maritimes. This has been my favorite campground since it opened. Simply the best!

Fabulous campground. Sites are private, well placed and the bathrooms are immaculate! The bike/hike trails are wonderful and the staff are very helpful.

The campground is laid out very conveniently. The only downside is the lack of showers within the campground.

A modern campground with many amenities some sites with water and electric. The only improvement I would have is that there would be a parking place closer to the sink for those of us who cant carry our dirty dishes far to the sink if we dont have a campsite next to rest rooms.

Very friendly helpful and knowledgable staff. Campsite was clean and private and had a bear box. Area is stunning and quiet and relaxing.

First time camper at Schoodic Woods and it was perfect for us. This is the "Quiet, Quiet Side" and we loved it. Big sites with electric, great dump station, lots of privacy. We biked the loop on our e-bikes and visited Frazer Point daily. After watching the tide turn one day for an hour at the bridge near Frazier Point, we got brave enough to inflate our kayak and paddle for two hours the next day around high tide. Delightful! Winds stayed below 10 mph and current was barely noticable in Winter Harbor. Mosquito cove and beyond was very peaceful and we hardly saw another boat. We'll be back to this side on our next trip to Maine.

Super easy to find our site. Stars were stunning

Campground was super tidy and clean. Check in process was very easy. Unlike a KOA, this is a dark sky campground. So string lights are prohibited. Other than a campfire, sites are kept dark and with good reason. When you look up, the stars are unbelievable! The night sky is so clear here, you'll easily see satellites. Highly recommend this place and we will absolutely be back.

One of the best campgrounds you will encounter anywhere! The sites are spaced far enough apart to feel very private and the whole area is clean and well maintained, including the washrooms. The trail system can be accessed from the campground and affords numerous opportunities for hiking and biking. It's worth noting that much of the trail surface is pea stone and can be a little loose in places, but not a problem for a gravel or mountain bike with robust tires. The sea strongly influences the area, and temperatures, (plus fog!), can be dramatically different from one side of the point to the other, so plan accordingly when venturing out. This spot is quiet, incredibly beautiful, and perfect for those who prefer a nature-based camping experience.

Campsite H08 is 0.3 miles from walk in camper parking. Didn't use vault toilet but flush toilets throughout campground were very clean. Bear bin with lots of room at campsite.

Well groomed, clean campground. great staff ready to help if needed. Not a bad campsite anywhere in campground that I can see. WiFi available in some spots a big plus for me. Very clean bathroom facilities. Schoodic a great place to hike and explore the rocky coastline.

Overall this campground is much quieter than the others in Acadia albeit much further away from the main attractions of the park. The facilities were nice, updated and clean. We stayed at a walk in site, thinking based on the description that it wouldnt be too bad. The site was accessed by a super narrow path, we had to duck and bushwhack to get back in there. The path was treacherous for what we expected to be a little more maintained, and turned into a puddly stream in the rain. It wasnt easy at night. Oddly enough the trail wound all the way back around towards the parking lot so a much better path couldve been made. The site itself was not presented very accurately either. There was a pad for a small tent (expected) but no room for the picnic table aside from the location where it was wedged half in the trees. If you had more than 2 people the site would be too tight. There are critter lockers in the site for storing food. The main campground is pretty open feeling (trees but not dense canopy, wide open sky) but back in the walk in area the trees were insanely dense like intentionally designed that way but lots of deadhead trees that were spooky and dangerous. If you stay here I do not recommend a walk in site unless youre really into staying very secluded. But the main campground seems enjoyable and quiet.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
