Beautiful Campsite, spot for a car and a tent, includes a picnic table and a place for a fire/grilling. Enjoyed our time there very much!

Seawall campground was beatiful and extremely clean. Campsites are more secluded by trees and terrain than in the other Acadia national park campgrounds. Sunset drive up Cadillac Mountain (requires a reservation) was phenomenal.

Easily accessible but phone service was non-existent

Couldn't have been better. Nice clean site, friendly ranger, and clean bathrooms. We'll be returning to this quieter side of the park!

It was really nice. It was good to be on the west side of island, a little separated from the insane business of the east side and the loop road. The campsite was pretty quiet until the weekend, and is a pleasant 10ish? minute walk down to the beach.

This campground is beautiful. You can hear the ocean waves as you fall asleep. The campground is nestled in the woods near the ocean. While not directly located on the rocky shoreline, it is just a short walk or drive to the shore. The sites are walk-in, so pack light or use some wheels to get your stuff in and out. The walk to and from your vehicle is not long: probably about a city block or less. The drive to the main portion of Acadia is indeed 20+ minutes and more with traffic. But, it's gorgeous and worth it.

We're traveling full-time in the first couple years of retirement and I would say our time at Acadia ranks as the best time we've spent anywhere. We took the mail boat out of N.E. Harbor to the Cranberry Islands, saw the sun come up on Cadillac Mtn. and hiked much.

During the week, the campground was very peaceful. The bathrooms are very clean and well maintained. On the weekend, because the sites are so closely packed (D loop), it became very crowded and loud, with some groups up partying past midnight. There are no showers. Theres a private camp store a short drive with pay showers. However the showers were only open 3-6:30pm. Overall, we would go back - during the week.

Very lovely campground. My site was spacious and clean. I loved the way the bathrooms ( flush toilets!) are centrally located. The staff out front were helpful.

This is a great camping site. Very close to the sea and also a 30 min drive to Bar Harbor and the Park Loop road. A spacious plot for pitching a tent, though the ground is gravel and pretty hard. Other plots are fairly close but the other campers were quiet, respectful, and friendly. Toilets with running water were greatly appreciated. No showers on site but hot showers could be found less than a five minute drive up the road for $1.50. Overall one of the best campsites I have stayed at in a US National Park.

Beautiful spacious campsites. Located away from most of the touristy areas so it was nice and quiet. Great for stargazing. I would highly recommend.

The campsite, accessibility to the restroom, cleanliness and the bells ringing from the buoy bells from the sea were the best!!!

I had a great time camping for 2 weeks at Seawall. Had no car. Would bring a car next time but it's not impossible by any means, just have to do a lot of walking to get firewood etc. Would recommend to almost anyone. The camping at Seawall that is.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
