My girlfriend and I recently did a 1 night stay here. I booked it before through the Recreation app it received really good reviews. We both the campsite was boring, lacked good scenery, bathrooms were dirty and the parking spots are TINY. My Chevy Colorado barely fit in the parking spot. We had spot #11 and the fire pit/BBQ/bench is about 50 feet away on a semi steep rocky hill. The campsite also didn't allow us to use the fire pit or BBQ grill. The site also had a pretty bad fly problem too. I'm glad we only stayed 1 night. Probably won't return any time soon.

Wild Turkeys! My family and I really enjoyed the grounds and of course the frequent visit from the wild turkeys. Everyone was realatively quiet at night for the most part other than a couple of sites. Some people don't realize how loud they are in the dead of night or just casually talking to on the way to the restroom. We would definitely come again!

We had a great camping experience here! The campground was great and the staff were very friendly. There are no showers available but there are bathrooms that seemed well kept. Had some of the best sleep yet here!

Sites are spread out, excellent shade for the warmer days. Camp host were excellent and attentive. The restrooms were always clean and well kept. Campground noise was not an issue, all were respectful during out stay.

We stayed at the Los Prietos campground for 2 nights during a two week long camping trip across the US, and it was very nice! not very popular so we only had a few neighbors, but everyone was very friendly and the campground was relaxing and quiet most of the time. there was fire pits, bathrooms, water, and a picnic table. Not too many bugs and I got to see some neat wildlife; a giant toad and bats! Along with the usual crows and ground squirrels. Good access as well to Santa Barbara, as it wasn't too long of a drive to the beach.

Large site; nice trees; loved the visits from the wild turkeys; wish more of the toilet facilities were available for use; Hosts were very accommodating.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
