This campground was beautiful. During this season, the site #7 didn't get a sun so it was pretty cold in the morning. The site would be perfect during summer due to it being under a giant tree. Overall it was a great experience!

Beautiful place !

Fine little campsite and friendly hosts. No real views from camp. The creek is the main draw, which is fun for kids to explore and right near the campsites.

Beautiful campground with a stream running right through it. A little under an hour to Ojai with construction traffic. Site #1 is in full sun but most of the other sites had shade.

It is a cute little campground away from the city. There is no service but it is quiet and peaceful. The camp host was a little family and they were extremely friendly. The creek next to the campground really adds to the experience. Hearing the sounds of the water and exploring the creek was a lot of fun. Unfortunately, my boyfriend and I went at the end of June and despite checking the weather before our trip, it was unexpectedly extremely hot. Our car said it was 97F for the Saturday we were there. We had site 23 and although it has a lot of brush to provide privacy, there was no shade during peak hours of the day. We had to seek refuge in the creek for most of the day. There were also tons of hornets in the bushes by the bench at our site and our site was infested with fire ants. We were afraid our dog was going to get bit. The toilets are vault toilets and was a bit rough to endure and use as well. The rest of the campground was very clean despite the restrooms. Our site was a bit down wind of the toilets so we got whiffs of it throughout the day. There is also no water. Out of all the sites, I will say that sites 17-20 are probably the best sites under a large tree and right by the creek, but those get booked very quickly. I have to admit, I was jealous of the family who booked it that weekend. There are maybe about 3 sites near the entrance that do have a good amount of shade and its next to a little old west set up that would be very fun for kids. Any site along the creek, however, is prime real estate. Site 23 is only a few feet away but not right by it.

Did not have a chance to experience this campsite and I dont think ill be trying to in the future. On our way to the campsite(reservation was made in advance), the road to the entrance of the campsite was closed. There was no notice or email and had to drive all the way back home. We tried to contact the office but we couldnt as there was no working number available. Requested a refund throught the main office and still no response a week later.

The road was closed but it was late dark and we were far from home. I wish they would have canceled or let us know how terrible the weather was. I checked two different weather forecast and it did not reflect accurate weather reports at all! It said it was going to be in the 60s -70s but it was freezing and it was raining. My children and I werent able to set up camp. We slept uncomfortably in the car. Well they did, I was up turning the heater on periodically and waiting for morning so we could leave. I would have liked a warning or at least an immediate refund. However, I filed about two weeks ago and am waiting to hear back. The site was lovely to bad we couldnt enjoy it.

Very cold but a nice campground

clean site overall; a little exposed but had a very nice second table. Site host was very hospitable and cleaned the restrooms regularly. **Bewarned, morning fragrance at the restrooms are awful (nothing against the host). Campgrounds at night run very cold so layer up!Creek running through the campgrounds is splendid and idyllic. However some sites are lucky to have some of the creek run beside them, other sites, like ours (#2), did not. Would recommend for a night or two, max.

We had such a wonderful experience camping here. The leaves were just starting to change for fall. There were lots of butterflies and ladybugs in our campsite. We were right next to the creek so we had nice water sounds. It was a bit cold camping in late October, but still lovely.
@MorganMDDA7DF2 · Camped on Oct 5, 2023 at Campsite #15
This campground was gorgeous. Beautiful scenery very secluded which was exactly what I was looking for. Although it was pretty it wasn't enough to deal with all the bugs and the poorly kept bathrooms. The hosts did not greet us at all and didn't even talk to us when we passed by. The bugs were so bad that even with a fire and tons of mosquito repellents I still left with 16 bug bites. DONT GO IN OCTOBER

We had a great site (#19) Some of our neighbors were a bit rowdy but everyone did respect the quiet hours. The trash bin near our site was full and overflowing, so we had to walk our trash to another bin, that shouldn't happen. Sadly, people were just dumping trash outside the bin.Be aware, there is NO cell service

Bathrooms were not very well kept. We got whiffs of it from our campsite as well. Lots of flies, so bring repellent.
@BridgettG91CDC · Camped on Jul 7, 2023 at Campsite #24
The grounds were great, with a nice creek you can follow up a trail. Sites were very spacious. The site I was at, number 24, had very little tree cover, so you'll definitely want a canopy or two for shade. The only issues were that when we got there on Friday the dumpster was over flowing and over the course of the three days we were there nobody came to empty it, and the overflow continues to get worse. The hiking trail that starts at loop 2 also wasn't very well maintained, you had to walk through a lot of overgrowth. Overall, they were pretty minor issues as we still had a great stay, and enjoyed walking up and down the creek and finding new spots along the way.

We had a great time at Reyes Creek. It was hot and dusty so we were glad of the shady creek. Jade is a stand-out campsite host, checks in regularly and makes sure the campsite is well run and well cared for.
@ColleenR272111 · Camped on May 12, 2023 at Campsite #7
Jade was the most awesome and friendly host. Our campsite was lovely, right on the creek, which was beautiful. And the freshly-stocked creek made fishing so much fun for the kids in our group. It was warm, and quite a bit of black ants on the ground, but that’s camping. :-)

It was a beautiful drive to the campsite and an even more beautiful once I arrived. The camp host was amazing, so warm and friendly and full of information about the hiking trails and area in general. The creek was full and flowing. I was at site#19. It was perfect !

This is my favorite campground in the Los Padres National Forest! It’s an easy drive up from LA through Frazier Park, and just beautiful in the spring. There was lots of water in the creek and my daughters had a great day playing. Site 19 is definitely the best site. Be sure to bing bug spray and more water than you think you’ll need. JADE IS THE BEST CAMPGROUND HOST! I am very grateful for her!
@CasperH9059537 · Camped on Apr 28, 2023 at Campsite #15
Very good campsite with excellent host staff and upkeep of bathrooms. The only note is that there is flooding on the main paths that you need to be aware of, so if it has recently rained, I would be careful. Also, there isn't a town or area to purchase any supplies you may have forgotten for about anywhere near. You would need to travel about 40 miles until you reach a camping supply store. Would go again though, 100%

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
