We did not make it to Eagle Campground. Fires were reported in the area. We requested a refund but haven't received it yet.

The campground was very clean. We stayed in the middle of the week, so only six sites were occupied. We had a good talk with Eric, the camp host who was very friendly and informative.

It was a great location. The campsites are clean and well organized. The camp host was very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are clean and well placed. The marina was in walking (or driving) distance with a well stocked little store. We dont catch any fish, but there were plenty of places to cast off.

If you are looking for a clean and peaceful place, you are at the right place. The water is pretty far, but the campground has a ton of trees and shade. The camp hosts are amazing.

The camp host was friendly and very helpful. The bathrooms were extremely clean and the campsite was lovely. The only problem was the website allowed me to choose a site that it shouldn't have with my trailer length and the website was not user friendly.

Camp host were great. Was nice and quiet. This is by far the best camp ground at Eagle Lake.

Had never been to this lake/campground. Was disappointed in site we had reserved months ago, but then we had never been. the camp host at Eagle campground suggested we drive over to Merrill campground further around the lake and look at their first come/serve sites. Wow! We found the "Best" sites for ourselves and fellow camper who had not yet arrived at first campsite. the Merrill camp host was quite courteous and handled the transfer of our reservation. This was perfect site for our kayaking, and direct view of lake. Thank you both camp hosts!

The bathrooms are clean. There's water available throughout the camp. There's a lot of shade in most of the campsites that I saw. Some sites had a lot of sun for people who want it for solarpanels. The sites aren't very close to each other. It feels private and not crowded. The bike path is really nice, and it seems to go really far. The lake is beautiful, but there wasn't a beach that we could find. It was easy to drive up to this camp. The road is sometimes narrow and winding, but it wasn't bad. I didn't feel like I might drive off the road and down a cliff. I would definitely come here again.

Really nice bathrooms, only thing is there's no bear boxes.

We camped midweek in June and the campground was quiet and clean. Restrooms clean and campground host was friendly and helpful. Like many other NF campgrounds the spaces are spaced apart and provide reasonable privacy. Verizon wifi was spotty but I was able to find a location with a low but usable signal. Would stay here again.

It was ok to good the bathrooms at the store were closed along with the showers and store I’ve been coming to Eagle Lake for many years and they have never been closed
@RodneyB5766346 · Camped on May 23, 2022 at Campsite #26
Great experience beautiful people and country, store being closed really sucked. Planned on buying supplies there. That was a mistake.

It's a shame that the Marina Store was not operational. This is a big part of our camping, with the ability to purchase needed items, as well as clothing and other Eagle Lake products.. My children were very disappointed, as were we. The showers at the marina were not opened , which was extremely inconvenient. Also, there was no wood available to purchase for camp fires. The camp hosts were exceptional as always, and did their best to help make our stay enjoyable. We have camped at Eagle Campground for over 35 years, and we hope that something will be done soon to return everything back to normal! Note: The website needs to be corrected immediately to inform the public of the above changes, as the current info is incorrect and misleading.

Love the campground and hosts Ron and Gail! Really missed the showers and store being opened. We're hoping you can resolve whatever issue that caused the shut down of these campground benefits and reopen them soon. Thanks

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
