Great location!

The site was rather odd for where to place the tent and not be encroaching on the adjacent site, but the worse part was an RV in the middle of the fairly small campground running its generator during quiet hours and keeping its floodlights on all night. The campground host was not present overnight to enforce noise/light courtesy.

Quiet, small, along the gentle river. Came in July when it was 90+ outside but while in the trees it didn't feel like it. "Boat Ramp" is good for inflatables and kayaks for a starting off or ending point. Not much room for anything else by the time everyone is standing around. I found no other access to the water. The "river walk" is definitely all overgrown nature and some rattle snakes. The interpretive trail is about 1/2 mile long. Host doesn't stay in campground during the week (maybe) so couldn't ask any questions about other trails. No cell service period. A little bit of truck engine noise from the logging trucks. Spot 19 has NO trees so therefore no shade. Perfect spot for any other time but July during a heatwave.

Wonderful campsite beside a sparkling river. Would be 5 star except for the dangerous left-hand turn into the campground on a blind corner in the road - you have to hope no-one is racing around the bend towards you.

Relatively quiet(some uphill highway noise, especially from logging trucks! Love the proximity to the Klamath River. Campsites were nicely laid out and spaced apart for some privacy. Bathrooms were clean and the smell was tolerable. There are a number of dead/dying trees and numerous dead branches, some of which pose a risk to falling on a camper's vehicle, tent, or RV, so those should be removed! Nature trail definitely needs maintenance--lots of overgrown plants/branches and weeds in the path which make it difficult to walk. It would be helpful to have a second set of recycling bins at the far end of the campground, instead of just at the entry. We'd go back again!

I really enjoyed my six day stay at Tree of Heaven. I found the sites were groomed regularly, clean restrooms, and I felt safe. The camp hosts were very helpful and communicative. The trail to access the Klamath River was also enjoyable. Thank you to everyone who takes care of our Parks.

It was a great stay next to the river. I highly recommend this site.

Beautiful camping area right next to the Klamath River. The bathrooms were clean and stocked with toilet paper and the campsites were spotless. The camp host had (good sized) bundles of firewood for sale which was really convenient. A++

Well-kept and clean. Limited hiking opportunities on site.

The camp was empty. Clean but no host or other campers in sight. We decided not to stay overnight. We spent some time by the river and left.

We unfortunately got into camp later then planned- apx 10:30- and there was a giant rv already in our number 21 spot.. we drove around a couple laps and eventually found an open spot.. super annoying. The location in the morning was pretty we even got in the river..

Worked well for an overnight stop on a long road trip. Only a couple other sites were occupied while we were there mid-week in July.

We got a tent site that was located at the edge of the Campground, along the river trail. It was very peaceful sleeping next to the river! We even saw a critter that we couldn't identify. It could have been an otter of something like it swimming up the river. We only spent one night during our trip, but I would love to be back there.

This campground wasn’t what we expected from other reviews. It wasn’t not private at all and the place was extremely windy and run down. No host for questions or problems. There’s not really any river access except at the boat launch. The interpretive trail is very overgrown and doesn’t really take you by the river. Highly disappointed as other has described the beauty. It was very quiet while we were there, so that was a plus, but I would not recommend.

Sad to not have potable water; happy to see reserved spots; tickled to have car fresheners hanging in the bathrooms!

It was terrific to see the reservation cards with our names on them. The bathroom car fresheners were clever and practical!

The ground was pretty hard, but the campground itself was beyond lovely! Such a beautiful area right near the river. The interpretive trail was a highlight!
@ChrisL277 · Camped on Oct 9, 2021 at Campsite #9
Had a great 2 days here. Quiet, secluded and not difficult to get to. Really enjoyed NO CELL SERVICE. That’s what camping and being in nature is about. Nice little walking trail and amazing river flow. Vault toilets were cared for and other campers did their thing. Would go back and recommend this place.

This is the most beautiful campground I’ve ever been too. Everything is very clean and the host is super friendly!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
