I camped with my family at Dorst Creek Campground in Sequoia late this past summer. We had a great time. The camp sites are spacious, and our neighbor campers were all friendly and hospitable. I also liked that a Park Ranger walked through the campground and gave us the opportunity to chat and ask questions. We plan to visit again soon as Sequoia is so beautiful and there is so much to see. Overall, it was a great summer experience.

A nice campground. Shuttle bus is definitely helpful. Choose your campsite carefully! There are some with very little level ground!

Beautiful campground, most of the campsites are well spaced, many are flat. The staff at the entry building were very vague about any open spots and how to reserve them. Several other campers had the same concern about the staff giving unclear answers about open camp sites. We saw bear and deer in the campground.

The campgrounds were clean as well as the bathrooms. Our campsite was flat and it worked well for our pop-up trailer camper.

Amazing campground. Very close to Lodgepole where you can take a free bus to see General Sherman. This campground has a trail you can take that has a small water spot to swim in. I will be coming back!

This has been my favorite campground since I was a little girl and now I'm in my forties taking my own family! The staff are very friendly and present on the campground. Sites and restrooms are maintained and spots are beautiful!

We love sequoia! Have camped in Dorst creek many times. Usually love our time and see our sites as respites. Unfortunately this last time was quite awful. Our site had zero shade and it was full of biting ants and wasps. (I know what it’s like to be in nature, and it’s not usually like this at Dorst.) To top off this major discomfort, we were double booked on one of our sites. After a day of hiking we came back to a family that had rudely moved our tent and gear and set up there own. Couldn’t get a hold of any rangers so we were stuck with it. Also, no one to talk to in the morning to fix the situation. Both parties had proof of booking and payment.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
