We had Group site E. It was a very spacious spot. Water was across the site. Bathrooms were a swift walk away. My family had so much room to stretch our legs and play some games. Might try to make it an annual summer camp spot!

Stayed one night in a group site. Site was nice and shady, a lot of mosquitoes since its located by a small spring. Bathrooms were not too far away. They smelled awful due to other campers sharing it not being respectful. But would recommend the campground

Es un lugar increble para acampar, con una ubicacin perfecta para realizar senderismo, nadar en el lago y visitar las cascadas.

Great shade and location

This camp was great. Bathrooms were always pretty clean and they have a sink that you can do dishes at at the bathrooms which was super helpful.

Site K was very sunny and had no natural shade. The Campground itself was pretty crowded. it was unclear where 1 campground ended and the neighboring one started. The weekend we visited, we also had very loud neighbors. There also wasn't enough bathrooms in my opinion for a mid-size campground. (There was only 1 bathroom and it was a fully booked campground). There are lots of trails though leading from the campground, including a panoramic trail and general Grant. the campground is easily accessible and convenient for hiking and adventuring.

Lots of folks rolling in very late on Friday night, it was a bit noisy. The campsite we were at had no shade, but it was great for star-gazing at night!

Came site was clean and has enough space for 3 big tents. No showers close by. Camp is close to the village where it is a market and restaurant. Camp site is surrounded by trees.

Campsite was beautiful and toilets are flush- not outhouses when booking the maximum size said 15, however the group next to us easily had 25 people and 6 cars so that was kind of much but overall the campsite was beautiful. The map of The village right next to Chrystal Springs shows 2 shower houses which there was not, so that was really disappointing. Bring portable showers or water to wash off. Traffic this year was horrible due to the winter mayhem, getting a couple miles took 45 min

Very clean campsite. Highly recommend to stay there.
@JaminBDB902E1D · Camped on Jul 4, 2023 at Campsite #B
The group sites all have a good amount of sun and shade . Site B has afternoon shade and is located close to trash cans and a short walk to a water fountain. Unfortunately the group site bathrooms are not ideal - all group sites share one men’s toilet and one women’s toilet . We walked to the bathrooms at the other camping area instead . Also there is only room for 2 vehicles at this site - extra cars can park across the road at Azalea campground .

There is no privacy at this campground. Sites are close together with not a lot of natural privacy (trees, etc). There is also only 1 bathroom, which led to long lines. Also, when I showed up for my reservation, someone was at my campsite, and had already set up their camp,and had their dates mixed up, and were basically squatting on my campsite. They were nice about the mix up, but that also contributed to a less than stellar experience. Overall, I would not stay here again.

Beautiful, clean, and very large spot for lots of campers and tents. Lots of trees and next to restrooms. Close to General Grant Village and a 2 mi walk to General Grant tree! Such fun!

Site L was a group site, all in the sun. No shade. You need a pop-up! Didn’t end up staying there. We saw 4 small tents on the site.
@SilkeM3120053 · Camped on Sep 2, 2022 at Campsite #M
Site recommended as it's located at the very top of the campground. Could have a few more toilets on the group part of the campground
@PaulB8317136 · Camped on Aug 12, 2022 at Campsite #H
Great time here! the campsite, H, is a bit secluded from the rest of the campsites & is surrounded by redwoods providing a natural shade for the whole day! The bathrooms as well as the trash bin are a short walk away but we were right across the water spigot.

Was the most magical experience I have ever had camping in this forest and this campsite was nothing but amazing 👏 will definitely be back for more adventures.

Great location near to General Gran Tree is a 15 minutes hike, the King Canyon Visitors Center and Grant Groove Villages is less than 3 minutes drive. My 4 year old kid and 4 year old niece had a blast exploring. We drove to Hume Lake is less than 25 minutes drive.

The site was spacious and lively. Campground wasn’t too crowded.

We stayed at a group site and we loved it. I noticed that the nights were very silent I didn’t hear any crickets or anything like that so I slept like a baby. I’m a light sleeper so any noise wakes me up but not here it was so nice 😊 I will definitely consider staying here again. Oh and we saw deer every evening coming down to eat. Beautiful site for the whole family.

We had a really good time at this site. Our site is a little sloped for our tents but was ok we are in the nature, right?
@DouglasL427 · Camped on Aug 16, 2019 at Campsite #B
Camp site was wonderful with lots of close amenities. The bear boxes were very useful. Bathrooms were close and clean. Potable water onsite as well. The site we had was near the entrance and had good usable flat space, however I would advise staying on the smaller end of the recommended group size as we had 8 people (4 couples) and I think we could have fit 1 more tent but not much more. Also there were 2 parking spaces, but it was very tight. Only other complaint was not about the site, but that other campers seem to not have near the respect for their neighbors. An additional park patrol could have helped. Still would return 10/10. great spot

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
